Did you buy these things from a local dealer or online? If they are being transferred to a dealer in ohio..... Assume it takes 2 months (most people say 3-4) to transfer to your dealer. Then Assume it takes 5.5 months to get to you (most people say 8-10 months). I had heard nightmares of 12 month waits on Paper form 4's.... I haven't had one exceed 6.5 months in the past 2 years (and I've had 3 clear... 5.5, 6, and 6.5 months). you could have saved time and manufactured your own SBR and had it clear via e-file form 1 in 30-35 days.... just sayin.... Also, depending on who you transfer-to will matter ALOT with cost. Gun Envy charges 50.00 for an NFA transfer. Blackwing charges 200.00 per transfer. Cool thing about Blackwing is that you can use your stuff at Blackwing while it's in "jail"... But I don't think its worth it for a SBR and Suppressor. Mainly worth it for Machine Guns...

REALLY? wow, can I bring the part along to test the threads? When could we meet? Can you take a pic of it?

I actually just found out that it must be class III threads. It will be used to tap an aluminum muzzle brake for a QD mount

yes, 1-1/8 in diameter (over an inch). And, the class 1A threads are SUPER coarse.

Does anyone know if a tool rental (or do you have one you would rent/loan) where I could procure a 1-1/8x12 class 1A Tap. I only need it once, and don't want to spend 60 buck on one.

ebay is a good source for demo clubs, used clubs, and new-old stock. My buddy got a set of R11 Irons for like 300 bucks.....

Joe, I have shot a half dozen Glocks and feel similar to you. Clunky, ugly, reliable, weird grip feel near the bottom. I shot one that the lower part of the grip was "shrunken" and it felt okay. I personally don't see a need to buy one as I have no interest for a striker fire pistol. But, my buddy did just get the new HK vp9 and I shot it. The grip is amazing and the gun is only 625.00. I won't be buying one as I am still not going to buy a striker fire gun . But maybe you want to look into that as an option?
