  1. GHB, Cocaine, and your basement... turn into a strip club real quick
  2. Seems to be what a lot of people are doing. It will look nice.
  3. Love the dissy! Also, nice builds! You use nice parts! Unlike most...
  4. First pic is simply amazing
  5. Buffer tubes are the same on an ar15 and ar10^^^. But I'm not sure about the geometry of the back on the lower receiver above the grip.
  6. I just saw it on slickguns today. Had no idea it wasn't fresh. How long's it been out? They said they launched it 6 -7months ago. Like I said. I like when a company attempts new things. I think its good for the industry (within reason, the exception is JJFU).
  7. You can see it in the slickguns ad http://www.slickguns.com/product/ras-12-upper-receiver-kit-181-inch-barrel-and-8-round-magazine-1167
  8. I award points for ingenuity! They sell it as a complete gun or just the upper. For the price you could buy 2 nice semi-auto shotguns. http://intrepidts.com/ I think its a good concept. I wonder if you MUST use their ammo at 3 bucks a pop....
  9. Yes, that was a cool concept. Aside from all the movie/fanboy fluff; HK really has done a good job of being inventive over the last 50-60 years. I am happy that gun MFG's like HK still make almost everything inhouse. That is a major selling point to me. Although, their new (lighter) competition AR15 will come with a magpul stock.... that is kind of a disappointment.
  10. is it me or does the front bumper look repainted?
  11. That is great! should I have him call the grove city office number?
  12. Hi guys, I hope this an appropriate topic for the meat market. BACK STORY: My father (68, retired) has a friend of 20 years who has a friend who is recently out of a job. My father's friend is an A+ businessman/trustworthy and asked me to network with his friend who he vouches for 100% on being a good dude. PRESENT SITUATION: I am meeting with this guy to talk a little bit about career advice/devising a direction moving forward. The only problem is, I am probably only going to be able to hook him up with people that know more about IT/infrastructure than I do. It wouldn't be my place to advise him after I saw his resume. But, we are still set to meet and establish a base. PROBLEM: I don't know which direction (of connections I have) to point him in because I don't quite understand his background. His resume states that he was a network engineer. But it seems to me like he was more involved with the hardware aspect. QUESTION: I am going to post his resume. Can anyone tell me what kind of job he should be looking for? I want to try and help get him to the right kind of person. He has a few years on the customer side (OSU) but the majority of his experience is on the sales side (Accutech). Do all network engineers do in-house hardware/hardwiring? I apologize as I am unclear on their exact duties in terms of the "quintessential" job duty. here's his resume.... 13. For a different gun....I was able to get the Viper PST FFP 6-24x50 for 830.00 delivered (which is over 100 bucks off of MAP). The dealer I got it from found a WTB add I posted on snipershide. If you guys want his info let me know. he kills it on vortex glass.
  14. Haven't decided yet, I like the Aimpoint. But, I might turn this into an SPR as it is heavier than most ar15's. Do you have suggestions?
  15. nono, my sunshade is 56mm. I doubt his scope is 56mm
  16. Jaron, I don't think mines going to fit as it is 56mm, what diameter is yours?
  17. So, currently... if you want a g36 you will have to pay 3500-4500 for a converted SL8. In about 1-2 years you can buy a civilian g36 from the factory for 2,000 (these are rumors). I'm going to wait. I want one too.
  18. Diamonds

    Let's talk .22

I need to step in and be the guy who try and helps those looking for 22. A lot of people have been upset because they perceive it's hard to find. I suggest you log knot slickguns daily. There is always a deal for 22. If you are local you can take advantage of cabelas. Sure, it is harder to get ahold of. But some people have complained like it is non existent.
  19. No, it's a CMMG mk3 CBR. Geissele trigger, etc
  20. I can meet tonight! what side of town are you on/will be on at 6?
