  2. I thought about a SCAR. It's just not the right gun for me now as I am trying to upgrade my ar15. I think a 556 SCAR is cool, but just not for me. Although,hmmm... 308 SCAR.... I have been pondering selling my ar10... (this):
  3. Here's my 2014 lineup. All are Electric and/or E-conversions. D8T, runs on 4s... runs shit over too. RC8B-E, capable of 6s Sprint Flux 2, quick... but not crazy fast.
  4. im ready to let the Genny Cat eat this summer.... 42 inches of fury...

    Let's talk .22

I ran federal red box through my umarex HK mp5. In fact, that gun jammed one time in 2000 rounds. It ate the federal and the Remington lightning (I think that's what it's called). I got bored with the mo5 so I sold it. But, I think I want to buy another one.
  6. Yeah, The things that put me over the edge. 1. The research I did on the piston system (so little heat transfer to bolt). They said it extends the parts-life 3-4x. And, requires barely any lubrication. 2. The receivers are thicker than milspec and flared more at the magwell, and the magwell is cut differently. 3. Almost (or maybe all) of the gun is made inhouse. 4. The bore reduces in diameter (tapered) as it reaches the muzzle and (supposedly) increases velocity. I have seen some reviews where it did, and some where it didn't. Depending on ammo used. 5. tungsten buffer and spring.
  7. I weighed my options I'm going to go with the HK. I decided to go with the HK because of the number of parts that they make in-house I like that about rifle company. I know it's not as flashy is the billet Larue but I can't get over the fact that I'm in HK collector. Think I will be really happy with the purchase. I jumped on this gun because of the extended rail. That is a $500 feature and is impossible to come by.v I was about to buy the Larue until I started reading about the HK. I learned that the HK has a lot more than meets the eye in terms of innovations and features. You don't see them when you look at it at first glance. Once I read up on it I was sold.
  8. I do have a bull barrel spr for accuracy. The gun I want to buy is just for plinking while standing etc. bull barrel isn't what I'm after. Thank you though!!! Keep the ideas coming!
  9. what diameter do you need? I have a 56mm
  10. yeah, it looks like it has a lot of changes (aesthetically) from the previous generation.
  11. just bought an RC8Be to thrash with. Thorney! you need to come bash some Saturday and sunday with me, Linn, and Keith.
  12. this is the other gun I am looking at. it seems it is a year wait currently. http://www.laruetactical.com/sites/default/files/14-5_556_predatobr_profile.jpg
  13. Reluctantly....Admittedly... First, I would be buying it for the name. The "amazing/greatest-in-the-world" piston system would be the second reason. Part of addiction is realizing that you have a problem.
  14. here you go Joe. It has the extended rail (500.00 dollar option) TAKEN FROM THREAD WTS MR556a1 Hello, I am looking to sell my NIB Mr556. It has been sitting around collecting dust and could use the cash for other things. It has a Magpul miad, HK Diopter sights, HK extended rail (same as M27 IAR), 1 HK steel magazine, 3 HK rail covers, box and papers. I am asking 3000.00 Shipped for it. I will have pictures up soon. Thanks

  16. I work for a staffing company. My boss (CEO) calls me the VP of Ops. I run the day-to-day and implement changes to help us grow. I don't love the industry, nor do I hate it. It's a means-to-an-end for my lust of being an entrepreneur. I have been there since day one (By myself, zero dollars in revenue, a phone, and a computer). Now we are slated do just over 9M this year. We have gone from dead last (82nd place in 2009, based on revenue) to number 1 this year based on our numbers from 2013 (four years to get to number 1) in the Ohio Hospital Association (for nursing services) program. My fascination is not with staffing as an industry. It is with teaching, developing, and creating change in order to grow. So technically, I do not know how to answer the question "do you like your job?". EDIT - I have a bachelor's degree in fine art from Kent State. Go flashes!!
  17. Graystone winery in the brewery district might be an option. I don't know what the max occupancy of their room is.
