  1. you can try to put some dry graphite or cable lube down in there to see if it frees up but you'll probably just need to replace the cables
  2. put a coolant temp sensor in it should be a multipin that does the fan and tells the pcm what temp it is probably wasted inside and shorts to voltage when it reaches temp and turns on the fan the pcm uses the coolant temp sensor on older cars to control the fuel trim
  3. I suppose you could take it to a machine shop and have them surface it, but your clutch won't ever engage properly afterwards. You can't shim the pressure plate like you can shim up the flywheel when you turn it down to ensure proper engagement

  7. AJ i've never tried to turn the factory stuff but most of the aftermarket rotors say they cannot be machined (i've turned several of them anyway with good results )

  11. your technically not supposed to machine slotted and cross drilled rotors I however would have no problem turning them for you if they just need cleaned up a little
  12. if you have this issue again I stock a brand new complete opti at my store price is reasonable also carries a lifetime warranty
  13. 10 dollars a rotor at any orielly store you will get charged 1/2 hour of labor (about 40 bucks ) per rotor at chain repair stores

  18. I was talking to him today and it sounds like he may have it narrowed down to an ecm or harness problem
  19. if you can't here it run and they won't let you at least pull the valve covers and the intake manifold to look at it don't even waste your time
