you can try to put some dry graphite or cable lube down in there to see if it frees up but you'll probably just need to replace the cables

put a coolant temp sensor in it should be a multipin that does the fan and tells the pcm what temp it is probably wasted inside and shorts to voltage when it reaches temp and turns on the fan the pcm uses the coolant temp sensor on older cars to control the fuel trim

I suppose you could take it to a machine shop and have them surface it, but your clutch won't ever engage properly afterwards. You can't shim the pressure plate like you can shim up the flywheel when you turn it down to ensure proper engagement

AJ i've never tried to turn the factory stuff but most of the aftermarket rotors say they cannot be machined (i've turned several of them anyway with good results )

your technically not supposed to machine slotted and cross drilled rotors I however would have no problem turning them for you if they just need cleaned up a little

10 dollars a rotor at any orielly store you will get charged 1/2 hour of labor (about 40 bucks ) per rotor at chain repair stores
