Mine do the same thing to the doorways. And corners, and stairs, and... well, I'm not looking forward to the repair bill when I move out. Did they do the laser procedure at OSU?

Never bought anything from these guys, but they are in Hilliard and have been around a while. They sell a lot of printers, copiers, other random office equipment, and charge a few bucks for local pickup. http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/dotcomliquidations Just a thought if you are trying to avoid paying for freight.

FYI, That album is empty. I do see the pics one level up, though.

Not as fancy as Paving the Way, but the Franklin County Engineer's site has future projects: http://www.fceo.co.franklin.oh.us/

You didn't use a hideous marble background with giant red and blue letters, so you are doing much better than most first-timers

SOLD 260k, 2.0L carb. motor, 5-speed, power windows/locks/mirrors, AM/FM/Cass, clean title Make no mistake, this is a beater. But, it runs and drives and has yet to leave me stranded. 5th gear went out a couple hundred miles ago. Most of those subsequent miles were on the highway, but I wouldn't recommend doing that too much simply because of gas mileage. When it still had 5th, I saw an average of 27-30mpg mixed driving. Paint is not so fantastic (flaking off the roof, some rust elsewhere). What you might want to fix: -Service 5th gear, or swap the transmission -Replace a section of exhaust flex pipe between the manifold and converter. The factory crimp connection came loose, so it's a little noisey. -Rewire headlight controls or replace the "combination switch" (assembly with headlight/wiper controls). Turn switch lever is cracked, so when you signal the headlights sometimes turn off until you jiggle them back on (it's a fun game, try it sometime). -Inspect brake pads/shoes for wear (starting to make some noise) -If you want A/C, replace the condensor (I have one already, it's included) and check for additional leaks (this is the only one I noticed). While pressurized, the system works fine. I have a nice service manual in PDF format, and a Hayne's book. I served around Thanksgiving. They apparently have become far more strict in giving out excuses, but as you know they will schedule it later (3 or 6 mos is the max, I don't recall which). It's more boring than anything else, just bring a laptop. They let people go home as early as possible, so you will probably only be there from 9 to 3 or so most days (if you do nothing but sit in the pool). If you are seated on a jury, the schedule will depend on the judge's, but we typically were in around 9 or 10 and out before 5 (one day we were there for a whopping hour). They have overlapping pools of jurors (new pool every week), so don't worry too much about getting seated on something at the last minute. You will probably be excused a day or two early because of the overlap. And, don't expect to keep the $20/day... most employers will pay you regular wages, but require you to sign the jury check over to them. I actually kinda liked it, since I essentially got a week and a half of paid vacation, and I got to sit on a murder trial. The kicker: they only know if you were there on a particular day or not, so if you only have to show up for 30 min, your boss won't know you spent the rest of the day watching porn on your cell phone at the bar.

Do you know if NASR rents HK or Sig? OVO and Powder Room do not, and I haven't been to NA in quite some time. I'm leaning towards a Sig P229R DAK or HK USPC/P2K in LEM... I just really want to shoot one before dropping a ton of money on either.

All I can really contribute is: Stay away from Kreiger. They like to skip the tedious steps such as hooking turn signals back up and reassembling the dashboard.

You could try Woodcraft (Hilliard). I haven't been to the one here, but they did carry lumber in the Rochester store. I really can't remember if they had finished boards though, at the time I was shopping for raw lumber. I don't think it will be too hard to find pieces that size though, I ended up with similarly sized pieces of cherry after finishing, and the walnut was available in the larger sizes as well.

I got some really goofy quotes on my Mach1 when I was 22 w/ 4 points. State Farm wanted something like $450/mo, Progressive wanted $200/mo. I ended up somewhere around $800 per 6 months (with Geico). At 19 w/ that many points, it's gonna be a bitch... but don't get too frustrated over one bad quote, it happens I guess.

They work. Proper mounting is important, but I assume the instructions will be clear on the specifics. The only problem is the sense of invincibility that will, naturally, bite one in the ass at some point
-
Yeah, I knew they were slow and expensive, but that's not exactly my gripe. I have no problem with "It's worse than we thought, it will be here for 6 weeks." I *DO* have a problem with "It's as bad as we thought, make another appointment in 3 months." I already had an appointment for a repair, the extent of which they were aware of, and they didn't do it. I just want my damn car fixed.

On the recommendation of Byers Subaru, I took my insurance estimate to Rife's and had them look at the car. The original estimate was for 3-4 days of work, all PDR. It was obvious it needed additional work/parts, but was all dutifully noted by the estimator. They gave me an appointment a month away. I dropped of the car on the 15th, and finally got a call and email on 24th. They told me that they had not done any work on my car, because it needed a new roof and they didn't have time to do it until February. They also had not gotten any supplementals approved by my insurance company (they didn't even call the adjuster until my car was in their shop). So, knowing a month ahead of time the extent of the damage, they neither scheduled an appropriate amount of time nor OK'd the additional work in advance (which would have saved them time). Now, I am forced back to the end of the line even though I had all my shit together and tried to get my hail damaged dealt with promptly. And of course I had to drive around a piece of crap for a week while they sat around with their thumbs up their collective butts. Thanks guys, please die in a fire as soon as possible.

My Canadian-born mother did, after living in the country for... I dunno, 40 years or something. So, it wasn't as exciting of a moment
