  1. I'm in about the same place though, because I'm a newb
  2. I went to school in Rochester (graduated from RIT a year ago). I think we should run the SRT vs the Mach1, it will be fun But not in New Albany, cops are teh suck...
  3. My dad got ticketed in Columbus for parking his bike on the sidewalk in front of his own shop for like 30 min. Funny how they have to keep it clean, ice free, etc. but get absolutely no leniency for things like that.
  4. Get an auxilary input box that hooks into the IP-Bus (or whatever they call it) port, this is usually used for CD changers or XM receivers. Then, run a mini-stereo to RCA cable from the iPod to the aux box. I do basically the same thing with my Ford factory deck, and it works great. Plus, I find the iPod's interface is a hell of a lot easier to use (even while driving) than the typically crappy in-deck controls (if it even supports it via an iPod module).
  5. Tomorrow looks pretty clear according to weather.com. I will probably be there.
  6. I have been to Groveport-Canal Animal Hospital, and they were nice enough. Reasonable prices, but they have a tendency to try and sell lots of extras (which seems to be a typical vet thing). It's kinda far for me though (and I'd imagine fou you also) and my cat doesn't like the car, so I probably need to find another place smile.gif
  7. Try: New Uses General Store 2087 State Route 256 Reynoldsburg, OH Haven't been there yet, but I've been meaning to check it out. I think they are supposed to have a website at www.newuses.com, but it's not working for me today (I have been to the site a while back though). Freecycle is kinda cool too, though I've only looked at the Rochester, NY chapter when I lived there.
  8. Hehe, the guy from Ask in GC called be back today still thinking I was going to buy something from him... he was also trying to convince me NOT to sign for NoRodStang, which just doesn't make sense to me... I mean, if I get financing, he makes a sale, what does he care? Anyway, staying away from that particular store Classic seems like it has some nice people and is right down the street from work, so we stop by there on occassion.
  9. I might look for Mark then if I need more work, would be nice if I could get some service there since I'm practically across the street smile.gif
  10. Got the car back with some tranny work and a rebuilt rear-end, hooray smile.gif Great guys, absolutely no hassles.
  11. Like new, I only used it a few times. Very nice feel and response, I just prefer using the controller to race. $80 if you pick it up on the east side. Email me, weisheimer at gmail dot com [Edit: After looking on eBay, I decided $80 was more reasonable smile.gif You aren't going to find one there that cheap with shipping being what it is.] [ 02. 12. Took the Mach into Keim last night, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks all smile.gif
  13. I am moving into a new apartment, and still need some misc. furniture to round things out. Stuff like: -TV Stand -Speaker stands -Audio shelving -Bar stools -Bookcase -End tables -Coffee table -File cabinet -Chest -Armoire/Wardrobe None of this is what I would consider essential, so it needs to be on the cheap (plus, I spent most of my money on the new car and living room furniture, hehe). I can pick up items most evenings/weekends with a bit of notice. Thanks!
  14. Oh, it has a K&N and that's it, no real worries there. Thanks for the suggestion smile.gif
  15. I had some cooling problems, but fixed it for the time being on my own by doing a flush and fill (they refused to work on it under warranty because the previous owner had put in some green coolant, then tried to charge me for the time they spent opening the cap and spilling coolant all over my engine bay). Right now, I need a slow coolant leak (at the thermostat housing) fixed and belts looked at (probably just need tensioned or something, stupid chirping).
  16. I'm hoping there's a Ford dealer around here that won't dick me around on warranty work. I was less than impressed with Krieger the one time I went there, but it is right by my workplace. Any suggestions? East side works better, but I will go out of the way if I need to.

    Rather noobish

    Sullivant/Georgesville area
  18. I tried this wheel on GT3 and GT4, and haven't liked it much so far. I just find it a lot easier to race with the controller. Yeah, it's probably more precise and what not with the wheel, but it definitely makes it harder.
  19. Hey all, I have finally acquired a fun car after all these years (a 2003 Mustang Mach1 about a month ago), so I thought I would see what CR is all about (had a few friends in here). As for the car, I haven't done any mods yet and have no grand plans yet. And of course, I probably do not drive it very well at this point. I hope to pick some brains for ideas, and hope not to pick any fights (or noses) in the process. Oh, and for what it's worth, I live on the far east side (Gahanna/Blacklick), work on the NE side, and am often in the Galloway area visiting. So, if anyone is interested in picking on me or bullshitting in person, you know roughly where to find me tongue.gif
  20. Smart place for them, since the area around the big airport radar tower gives tons of false positives on radar/laser detectors
