I loved mine when I had it. Plenty fast for what it was. The thing I liked most about it was cruising on the freeway. The seats are very comfortable and it just rode so smooth. I regularly got 18-19 mpg city and 27-28 freeway. I had the balljoints changed out under warranty. The stereo is sort of lack luster. There's a trick to the amp in the trunk that works wonders. Check out g8board.com

I had an 09 G8 Gt and I absolutely loved it. Rode fantastic on the freeway. Plenty of room in the back seat for passengers. My bro and I are both 6 ft + and sat fine in the back. You can run 87 in it and get decent mileage. The only issue we had with it were the ball joints. But if you get the newly designed ones you'll be ok. Still mad I had to get rid of it.

For Sale is my 2002 Monte Carlo. I’m the 2nd owner and bought the car back in 2003 with 13,700 miles. Currently it has 122,XXX miles on it and that will probably go up as I continue to daily drive it. It has been a very reliable daily driver, but the time has come for me to upgrade. It has a 3.4L V6 with a 4spd Auto. Has cloth interior, sunroof, power driver seat, cd player, etc. The interior is in very good shape. No rips or stains. The exterior is in decent shape, but has seen typical scratches and nicks. It’s never been in an accident. There is a small patch of rust in the driver’s rear fender well lip. I’ve kept up with the maintenance over the years and it really needs nothing, no leaks, no drips. I’ve done an oil change and trans fluid/filter change recently. Transmission shifts smooth. A/C works, everything works fine. A list of repairs beside regular things: -Lower intake gaskets, fel-pros (~100K) -New alternator (~100K) -Serpentine belt (~100K) -Axle seals (~119K) -Pads and rotors (~80K) I’m sure I’m forgetting other things, but bottom line I like to keep my cars running in excellent condition. Awesome! Thanks guys. The panel in question is the passenger rear on a 4th gen f-body. So it's safe to assume that the panel was re-painted? Worst case and I have to replace the whole panel, how much $$ am I looking at?

The transmission output shaft seals are leaking on my 2002 monte. So I'm about to buy them from Rockauto and they have 2 brands listed. Timken or SKF. Anyone have any opinions about which is better? Thanks.

4th red car! hahaha! I'd really like to sell it myself. I have the time to be patient. We have an older Buick that the kids can ride it temporarily until we get things sorted out. Thanks!
