  1. Not yet. When we found them we took them to Med Vet to see what they'd say and they said they were too young yet. beet dique sooprah - Just let me know, they probably have another couple weeks before they are ready (old enough to get shots and such). He's fun, definitely very playful. damreds - You probably can't top my neighbor, we've estimate his cat count to be deep into the teens. At least 15 cats. Thanks all.
  2. We have 4 kittens that will need a good home in a few weeks. They are about 5 weeks old right now, and I think you're supposed to wait until they are 6-8 weeks. They haven't gotten their shots yet due to them being too young. I really don't want to charge any money, I just want them to go to good homes. Please feel free to contact me through PM's or e-mail. The evenings are probably the best time to come see them. There are 3 girls, and 1 boy. The boy is the black and white one in the pic. He's a character. Here are some pics: http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/SDC10417.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/SDC10416.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/SDC10415.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/SDC10414.jpg
  3. Cool, thanks guys. I'm starting to look into this stuff and this will be helpful.
  4. I think it's made by 3M. Basically a thin, tough, clear piece of plastic that goes over the front of your car like a bra. Anyone know a good place that does this? And how much $ ? thanks,
  5. The GT's were a normal price, but the GXP's were above MSRP. I agree that paying over MSRP is not very smart. Unless you have more money than brains. We are just looking for a G8 GT so we're not very concerned about the pricing on the GXP. Also, the wheels are getting a bit out of hand. They have 19" wheels available on the GT, that's kinda big for me. I think the 18" are plenty. Come to think of it, what size wheels do the new camaro come with??
  6. I think that's sorta out of our range. Its actually going to be my wife's daily. Take it with a grain of salt, but the guy at tobin said he had one or two on lot for $2500 over msrp. I never bothered to look as we really weren't thinking about it. I still might bring the GT to the dyno just out of curiosity. We did test drive one, well she did. Fantastic car. I can't think of one really bad point on it. I would think GM would be foolish not to bring it back under the chevy nameplate.
  7. Cool, thanks guys. I'm going to check out a few more places this weekend. On Tobin's website it's listing them for under 30k after all the rebates and such. Hopefully we can move on one this month. Has anyone ever delt with Dan tobin before? Are they pretty fair? I would assume the gas tank issue was covered under warranty? Is it a typical problem on the G8? (I should probably check out some G8 boards too).
  8. So who here owns a G8? What dealer did you get it from? The wife and I have been looking at them recently and think it might be the car for us. So I'm starting to shop some dealers and see where I might get the best deal. We were in Dan Tobin off Sawmill and MSRP was around $34K and I think they had a $3500 rebate (I forget). There's Chesrown in Delaware I need to go look at. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
  9. ND2Race - I'm sorry that you got that impression. When I first took everything apart, I tried looking for the parking tab you were describing. Seriously, I listened to your advice and looked for it to be bent out of place. I couldn't find anything, so I thought maybe AJ was on to something with the pulse board. I guess sometimes its hard to explain tech help over the internet. I'm sorry if I offended you, I appreciate the help. You're probably right with parking tab, and I'm just missing something. I agree that it probably isn't the motor.
  10. Well that didn't work. I replaced the pulse board and they still do the same thing. I looked at the parking tabs on the pulse boards and they seemed fine. I even tried bending one, but that didn't work. I guess I might try to take it in sometime this week, I have no idea whats wrong. Kinda frustrating.
  11. Thanks AJ, I'll have to find a pulse board this week and see if that fixes it. I think advance auto has them or maybe you might know where to get one? I'd like to get it this week so I can fix it over the weekend.
  12. AJ, I see you are an ASE tech. Have you seen this problem before? If you think its the pulse board then it seems fairly easy to replace from what I saw. I appreciate the help.
  13. Ok, I pulled some stuff apart and had a look around. I got a good look at the motor and the assembly. Nothing really seemed broken? I would guess its either something wrong with the motor or the pulse board? I might have to suck this one up and take it in...
  14. Thanks, I'll see what I can do this weekend. Is the parking switch something I can replace separately from the motor or do I have to replace the whole thing? I'll have to pull it into the garage and hopefully melt the snow and ice build up. I'm sure using the wipers when its 5* out and covered in snow has something to do with this...
  15. Just happened today as I was using the washer fluid. They started from their normal park position down by the cowl and when I went to turn them off they stopped in the upright position. The motor seems to work fine, because I can turn them on and off and they work completely normal even at varying speeds. However, when I shut them off they act they are going to stop down at the cowl, but then they move so they are straight up on the windshield. Is their a switch or something that has failed? Any help is appreciated, cause it looks goofy driving around with wipers stuck like that. Thanks,
  16. I too have a Harmon Kardon. I actually bought mine through their site on ebay. They sell their refurbished stuff with a 1 year (IIRC) warranty. I forget which model I have, but its been working great for 3 years.
  17. This is Innovate Motorsports handheld wideband O2 tuning kit. It also has the rpm option so you can map AFR vs. engine speed, very handy. I bought this to tune my carburetor with and it worked great. I now have a fuel injection setup with its own built in wideband O2 so I really don't need this anymore. Everything works fine on it. Its part number is 3724 from the pictures below. I have all the wires and everything shown in the one picture. However, the only thing I don't have is the software CD, which went when my laptop was stolen. Not a big deal though as you can download the software for free from their website: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/news19.php#D which is probably better anyway as the latest version, Logworks 3.0, is out. http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/InnovateLM1PN.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/InnovateLM1.jpg $250 obo
  18. Here's the old exhaust (dumps) http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/Exhaust1.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/Exhaust2.jpg And the new one: (Thanks for the pics Jeff) http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/BrentZ2810.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/BrentZ2815.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/BrentZ283.jpg
  19. Thanks again for the complements. Just2sweet - It has long tube Hooker headers (for an 82-92 f-bod), 3 in" pipes to a y-pipe setup, into a 4" mufflex catback over the axle, single muffler dual outlets. I had dumps on it before but it was too loud for me. I'll try to get some pics up of the two systems today. Derek- It's clean because its been sitting in the garage for the past 3 years while I worked on it. So I sorta cheated. hahaha. I'm impressed it drives so well, I really haven't worked on the tune that much.
  20. Thanks guys. I'm the second owner. I bought it in early 99, it had about 32k miles on it. Why I chose an Iroc? I have no idea. I was young and just getting into cars. I figured it was going to be fast just because it had a v8, turned out 305 was not a misprint. Anyway, its been fairly babied its entire life, its more of a weekend/fun car for me.
  21. Big thanks to Mike, Tank, and Brandon. I had IPS do an exhaust on my Camaro. Everything was handled perfectly. They were very considerate about what I wanted and made sure it was done correctly. Mike even took it up to get an alignment done too, which saved me some trips. The exhaust came out great and sounds awesome. Thanks guys! Mike, I think you said you had some pictures of it. I forgot to give you my email address. Do you think you could send those?
  22. Shit, I was hoping the pictures would illustrate it better. Crap, sorry Kevin. I think the flash was screwing it up. I was trying to take them in the garage last night. The color matching is perfect.
  23. Little back story. The car is my wife's, it's a 99 grand prix. Started getting some rust just below the gas cap door earlier this year. I finally got around to taking it in. The before picture: (This was taking around July I think, but by the time I brought it to Kevin it was worse. http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/GPrust.jpg Brought it to Kevin to take a look at it and he gave me a quote, which I thought was extremely reasonable, so the next week we dropped it off. We left it with him on a wed night and we stopped by that friday to pick it up (wife needed it for the weekend). Kevin wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out and didn't charge us a penny! We agreed to bring it back in for him to make it right by his standards. Left it with him and he reworked it and it turned out FANTASTIC: http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/GP1.jpg http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l334/Irocstyle/GP4.jpg I must apologize, because I suck at taking pictures. I should have got my wife to take them, its her camera. Anyway, Kevin did an outstanding job. We are both very pleased and surprised at how little he charged. You simply can not beat the quality for that price. Kevin - I need to buy you a beer or 3 or 4. If you need any help on the Iroc let me know. Thanks again!
  24. Hahaha. I guess I have no room to talk either my "toy" has spent way too long in the garage. Oh, and congrats on the baby, Dave.
  25. Thanks again guys, Derek, That mustang out front was yours? Looks sharp.
