I appeared in the Marysville Court last year. Grigsby was my judge. At your first appearance, you will be asked to plead. If you plead not guilty, he will ask you if you have representation. At this point, do not ask for a public defender. You will be a number in a long line of cases. Grigsby will not ask you any other questions. He will set a date for trial or sentence you if you plead guilty. As was said earlier, look good! Wear a suit, shave, and be on time. The courtroom will be full of "Union County's Most Wanted." There is no excuse to look like them. BTW, I was there for a RR crossing violation. Cliffs: If a cop writes you up for not stopping at a RR crossing while the lights are flashing, make sure he doesnt write you up for driving a commercial vehicle! I got the charged drop because of this.

Here's a thought. Become Energy Independent?? Vote people in office who think that quality of American lives is more important than some endangered owl up in Alaska. Get our own oil! Is oil evil? Nope. Should we look at alternatives? Yep. I realize it will eventually be gone, but there is still a ton left. Combine oil with alternative research so we can still live our lives. Cut the "Summer Blend" BS when it comes to refining gas! Why do we have so many blends? Stick with one and it becomes easier to refine. Build a safe nuclear power plant in New England so people can stop burning Heating Oil. (Become more efficient) Check out oil shale! Basically, it's oil trapped in rock out in Wyoming and Utah. Invest in refining capacity. Eventually, we can tell those Middle Eastern countries to go pound sand. Quit blaming capitalist business. Oil companies profit based on the selling price of oil. They do NOT set the price. The weak dollar as was mentioned is killing us. If a broker in Europe can buy oil on the cheap because his Euro is worth twice as much as our dollar, he's going to push up the price of oil. Is there a problem with the way oil is traded?? Absolutely. Why should some Wall Street jackass dictate how Americans live their every day lives?

People are more apt to put money down on a lease, because lease payments are advertised with X amount down PLUS tax, title and aquisition fees. Lease loan to value advances are much lower compared to buying. 4k will be tough to roll on a lease.

Why? Very few people ever put money down. If it's a pretty new car and he just took out the note, 4k flipped is quite common. 1500 of that negative is probably taxes. Negative Equity can happen to anyone regardless of credit rating.
