I agree with this. I do see the attitudes evolving though. I would never have guessed in a million years the Crew would still be viable when they started back in the mid 90s.

Wouldnt hate it if they shortened the field by 50 yards ,played 15 minute halves and had 4 guys plus a goalie on the field at a time. Then when the world cup came around, if someone actually scored a goal on opening night it would be epic!

I think the Big 12 will only exist for another week. Then we will just get back to regular confusion with the Big Ten (Big 12). right?

well put...I'm just throwing it out there that maybe OSU needs to start looking at it's options? I know it's blasphemy to suggest they leave the B10, but they might start to miss out as well. I have no idea what they are contractually obligated to the B10 for though.

^cuz it makes sense but isnt fair! Its the same mindset that forces men's football and bball to support like 40 neg revenue sports! A power house like TX would certainly increase the current bottom line for everyone regardless of how its distributed! B10 can't see the forest through the trees.

Texas, A&M, and Tech to Pac 10? Way to go Big Ten...tell everyone you are not looking to expand for a year or so and watch your opportunity blow up. Pac 10 sees the writing on the wall for USC. They need to bulk up! Buckle up!
