  1. Honestly don't see too many in the shop from any model year. They are one of our best sellers. Opt for the V6.
  2. Messing with new guys is great! We send our newbs to other local dealers asking to borrow the "pavement stretcher!" I remember SOHIO stations when I was a kid. They always had bays for service. Another part of the America I miss. Good luck to you and your dad.

    Lebron

Agreed...his jersey was off before he hit the locker room and then he just wadded it and trashed it. Totally symbolic. I've never seen a more passive triple double in my life. Not even close to a "special" performance. Could he stand around any more? Could he take any more jumpshots? Could he turn the ball over more? ( Almost had a quadruple double with 9 turnovers) Lebron is all about Lebron. No midrange game, fair freethrow shooter, inconsistent outside shot. He better win a championship in the next 3 years, because he legs will start to fail and he will have nothing to fall back on to score the basketball.

    Lebron

The Magic may be the best team in the NBA. However, calling Lebron a crybaby and saying Orlando is your team is like the pot calling the kettle black. Howard bitches if a ref looks at him wrong!
  5. Thought this thread was about Old Milwaukee Beer

^^do you ever get a case of the Mondays?
  7. ^^ I wondered the same thing. Only conclusion is the offended parties would be more Mexican than American. They are probably not a big fan of the AZ immigration law either.
  8. I just cant help but think about the guys in Afghanistan and Iraq "fighting for freedom" and then something like this happens. "Take off your American flag T-shirt cuz it's offending the Mexican students" Makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
  9. Wow...just...wow. Where did our country go? http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local-beat/Students-Wearing-American-Flag-Shirts-Sent-Home-92945969.html
  10. Been living in a bubble this week and haven't seen much on TV. When I first saw the commercial, it really got me thinking about how it was possible.
  11. I thought the ads touting the payback of the loan ahead of schedule were a bunch of hype. Here is why: http://www.forbes.com/2010/04/23/general-motors-economy-bailout-opinions-columnists-shikha-dalmia.html Cliffs: The loan referred to in commercials is for 6.7B. Total bailout and taxpayer liability is closer to 50B Loan given to GM at below market interest rates. GM paying back out of government funded escrow account. They have yet to turn any sort of profit. They are touting the "payback" to get another loan from Dept of Energy to retool plants. Bottom line is that they are using bailout money to "pay back" their loan. Its a total PR stunt to calm down consumers angry about the bailout. Nice try, GM.
  12. funny stuff...while you were still in grade school, I was rockin to this! NWS *language*
  13. Welcome. As stated before, duck and cover. Bring a wad of cash to track day for the cleanup.
  14. Steelers just picked up Thad Gibson from OSU in Rd 4...good luck Thaddeus!
  15. or maybe Sonic the Hedge hog! *Edit* My bad, Dewey Cox cut his bro in half with a samuri sword. I'm thinking of Johnny Cash in Walk the Line.
  16. Biggest thing to happen in the "ville" since we opened the white castle store!
  17. We have actually sold our quota this year. The first was a Tungsten/Black stripe package that was shipped to Washington state. Because we sold it so quickly, we were given a second unit. We ordered the same car and sold it to a customer in Denver. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrFyMdruBkI Here is a vid of the one on our showroom floor before it sold a couple months ago. It does mention my store name so if it's not allowed because I'm not a sponsor, feel free to delete. The 2011 Shelby picture is not clear. Since Ford is moving away from the 5.4L platform and going with the 6.2L set up, we have not heard how this will effect the Shelby line.
  18. Look on the brightside, you are probably heavier too! J/K A Shelby is still a Shelby!

  20. I'm biased for Ford so the Escape would be my first choice. You might be limited in terms of cargo for the plywood/drywall aspect though. The V6 will tow up to 3500 pounds. Explorers are nice vehicles. We see a ton of high mileage Explorers with no issues. However, do your best to avoid the 02 model year because of rear diff issues. As stated before, if you go Jeep, go with the I6. The biggest thing to check with high mileage mopar IMO would be strut tower bracing. They have a tendency to rust pretty good. A Durango will eat you alive on gas. Gas under 3 bucks is not gonna be around very much longer. Everyone I've seen come in to trade one NEVER has a good thing to say about them. Cheap build quality etc. A previous post mentioned Honda Pilots. Pilots are nice but you wont find one for 6k with less than 150k miles. At that point, the transmissions start to have issues. Honda 3.5L motors are great, but I've seen tranny issues start to pop on higher mileage units Good luck in your search. Most of your choices have lots of upside and obviously your decision should be based on the specific vehicle you look at and not generalities. Just an fyi, heated seats can be added to any vehicle with cloth OR leather interior.
  21. At least the guy didnt throw like a girl http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/04/06/obama_cant_name_a_white_sox_player.html By the way, he couldnt name one Sox player....hahaha W's throw by comparison http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=631knZM9Uiw
