  1. Yeah that is a very good point, almost all the training is just going over the Ohio CCW laws. So it may get you out of the 4 hours worth of range time, but I doubt it is going to get you out of the 8 hours of training.
  2. I know I saw a movie trailer on G4's "Attack of the show" a while back with a quick shot of Ledger as the Joker.
  3. I would suggest calling up the places that hold the classes. The person that does the training should be able to tell you or find out for you. I know all the indoor gun ranges hold the classes, so give Blackwing/Powder Room/New Albany/Ohio Valley Outdoors a call. They should be able to let you know. Even if you don't get anything off of your class, it is only a 12 hour course.
  4. Well I found a website that reviews LCD TV's and they have a calibration set up for my TV. I am going to give it a shot tonight. If you check out the TV's that have been reviewed, they have a calibration set up. http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtvreviews/reviews.shtml
  5. TV needs to be "calibrated?" What exactly is this? Sorry, this is really my first flat panel, HD TV.
  6. For the DVD and Wii, I am using the RGB video cables. They look great. But yeah, my cable box only has the 3 wire RCA (Yellow, Red, White) and that doesn't look the best. Unfortunitly, I live in an apartment complex and only have Insight or Direct TV as options for cable service.
  7. Ok, well on Thursday night, while driving home from the parents places for Thanksgiving, my wife says she wants to see about us getting a new, bigger TV. I am like, ok, no problem with me. Well with out doing much more than looking at prices on line, we went into Circuit City on Saturday and picked up a 40" Sony Bravia 1080p (biggest that would fit in our entertainment center) for $1200. So we get home and I hook things up and I have been dissappointed in how bad things look on the screen. DVD's and the Wii look great (hooked up with composite cables), but regular TV sometimes looks really blocky. I have Insight digital cable and I have tried both using the coax cable and RCA hook up without much luck. My cable box does not have S-Video outlet or composite hook ups. So any suggestions on what I should do to make my picture better? Should I upgrade to the HD service? My friends have the DVR box and they said that box has the composite hook ups? I really don't need the DVR, but if it is cheaper than HD service, I may go with that. So any other suggestions?
  8. I have a Creative mp3 player that has worked great for me for over 2 years. It is nothing more than a little 1 GB Zen. It has never had a single problem with any thing I have put on it and to transfer songs, you can just use windows to drag and drop files. Also the other thing I really like about it is that it uses 1 regular AAA battery. So if the battery dies while I am working out, all I got to do is put in a new battery and we are back in action. I use mine for working out and it normally last me about 2 months before I have to replace that battery.
  9. I got mine this past summer. I am not a big gamer, so it works out great for me since I can pick it up, play for a while and can sit it down with no problems. It is true the games are not that involved, but that makes it great when you only have a little to play. Of course Wii Sports comes free with the system and is a great fun game to get use to the system. Wii Play is like a continuation of Wii Sports and comes with a free remote controller. It has many more mini games and they are not as sport orientated. I have for mine, MarioParty 8, Excite Truck, Sonic, and Guitar Hero 3. Mario Party is really only fun when you have all 4 players. Luckly our friends that we hang out a lot with also have a Wii so they just bring over there remotes and we are golden. I am off course a big Guitar Hero fan so I like it as well.
  10. I hope everyone one has a safe one out there. Be nice to your family, they are the only one you have (Thank God!)
  11. I may be down there Friday morning depending on what my cousin-in-law is up to. Yep bring your tools, pay $1 to get in, and pull your own parts. They take cash, check, and CC's. Prices on parts are on the wall to the right by the door you walk out of to go into the yard.
  12. Panasonic sucks. The night shot is horrible even that model has it.
  13. bump before Thanksgiving
  14. Hey guess what, going 52 in a 45 is still speeding. Pay the ticket, you earned it.
  15. They can have my guns when I am completely out of ammo and can pry my cold dead fingers off the triggers.
  16. Nice. But I am sure it completely psychological. Hell she could be doing it just for the attention.

    I Am Legend

It is not a zombie movie. The others turn into a vampire like creature. That is how "The Last Man on Earth" and "Omega Man" are. Still looks great though. I look forward to it.
  18. Happen to see any Jeep Cherokees? I know they normally have 3-4 of them there.
  19. Crunchy water is good for you.
  20. In case anyone is interested, I got an email from Pick-n-Pull today saying that they are having a half price sale on everything from Wednesday through Sunday November 21-25. My cousin-in-law and I may head down on Friday since we both have the day off work to see what we can pick up.
  21. Yep I got mine last night in the mail too. Works great. And I do agree, why all that packaging for just that little flash drive. OH well, it was free.
  22. I wonder if mine is in the mail today too. I got the shipping confirm a while back. I was going to post up also once mine came in the mail.
  23. The one radio station here in Columbus has been playing Christmas music non-stop since at least November 1st. I heard Christmas music playing in Wal-Mart as I was picking up stuff for my Halloween party in mid-October. Hell they had there Christmas stuff out and one isle over from the Halloween stuff. I want to make a law, no Christmas till after Thanksgiving.
  24. All the Alien, Pred, and AVP's stories have sucked, but they are still fun to watch. This one looks cool too.
