Sweet deal. My subscription is up next month, and Netflix/Crackle/Vevo ect is our primary form of entertainment in the house, so I snagged one.

My 96 Impreza, I bought because I got a sweet deal on it. I drove it till the motor blew up, and its been on jack stands while I decide what I want to do with it. I have all the parts to finish an EG33 Flat 6 swap, so maybe I'll get a fire lit under my ass and finish it this summer. However, I still might try to sell it. I ended up stripping the interior out, with the intent of using it as a dedicated Rallycross car, but the poor condition of the car (rust) makes me worry about what I could get out of it. My 06 Impreza could be going away soon. Because of my age, my insurance for it is nearly as much as the car payment, totaling almost $500 a month. Its not that I can't afford it, but I really like the prospect of another $500 a month in my pocket. The Miata I have been driving a lot, as it reminds me about what I miss about my old MR2, just pure fun to drive. I also got it with the intention of Autocrossing all season, but if I get rid of the Impreza it will have to be my daily as well. Not worried though, the previous owner left it in great mechanical shape. Truth be told though, I can't say I have emotional attachment to any of my cars. I almost seem them purely as tools. Daily, rally, and autocross.

I am Catholic on paper, but wouldn't consider myself religious anymore. Dave's emphasis on the bible doesn't bother me, because it is almost always used to demonstrate something in a financial context. He also respects other's beliefs when he is giving advice, and if someone isn't Christian, will often give advice to someone in the context of their own religion or lack thereof. As it turns out, "common sense isn't so common". Growing up in a house where money was wasted constantly and debt was/is the norm, what might be obvious to other people wasn't obvious to me. My mom is financially ruined right now, and won't do anything about it. Before my dad died, we weren't much better off. After he died, my mom lived on the social security checks, instead of finding a long term solution to paying for everything. She had a job at the time, but it was a near minimum wage job doing secretarial work for a now closed photography studio. I am using Dave's books to help me prevent a future like hers. I read the entire thing including the comments. I don't necessarily agree with Dave only certifying Evangelical Christians to be his official counselors, but like one guy in the comments pointed out, I see why. Anyway, I hope you get some good information out of this Scott.

That is really surprising if that's the case, given the skinny front wheels. Deltawing chassis aside, I definitely think that 4-cyl turbo is whats going to keep good racing going and keep the tree huggers happy while were at it.

Its nearly impossible to do live WRC commentary, especially with the fact that stages are usually miles and miles and miles long. They have introduced "Power Stages" though, that are usually ran at the end of the rally and are televised live. Those are short, maybe minute and a half, stages.
