Try to find a 280Z if possible (Don't confuse it with that abortion of a car the 280ZX). They had the beefiest body and the most rust defense. The 240/260/280 are all pretty much the same body design, but there were improvements aside from just the displacement of the motors between each model.

I have been looking into getting an FIA legal cage like this one from Safe Drives: http://www.safedrives.com/proddetail.asp?prod=APSRRC Is there anyone out there who installs these? There also seems to be some argument across various forums as to if there is such a thing as a "FIA Certified Welder". I am not ready to pull the trigger on anything yet, just trying to lay out plans for my car. Selling the setup I had purchased to run my car when I was building my crazy frankenstein. This is a built and tested MSII on the 3.57 board from DIYAutoTune. These sell from DIYAutotune for $430. I am going to ask $400, as this has never been used. I'll include a USB to serial adapter and an RS232 cable so you can have everything to configure it also. To go with it, I have a one of a kind adapter to mate a Subaru harness to a Megasquirt. This harness was made by Taiden on RS25, and worked when he had it. I personally have never tried it, just to warn any potential buyers. Its pretty well done, though.
