  1. Harness got shipped out today. The guy its going to already has one ready to go, so the turn around should be pretty quick. Now I need some Group N or stiffer engine mounts. After that, I will have everything I need to put the motor in the car and hook it up. Still have to deal with cooling it, but at the very least it will be startable. Will also probably pick up the OEM gasket kit from Subaru and give all the seals a freshing up before tossing it back in.

    Well, at the least the constantly interrupting Doc shit while he was trying to explain to us his plans for the clubhouse wasnt cool.

  5. I'm sifting through RS25.com right now. I thought for sure they had PDF's of all the manuals, I am looking.
  6. You might want to use a multimeter or test light to figure out what is 12v and what is ground, though. Just to prevent any surprise sparking/fuse blowing.
  7. Well, no real "scientific" way of going about it, but unplug the switch from the harness, and stick a piece of wire in the harness to jump the AC clutch. This will help eliminate the switch as a failure point. I've had quite a few various cabin switches go bad on me from around this era.

  16. I'm selling whats left of my SVX. Still has some good parts on it, namely the trans and diff. Interior is mostly there, but a few parts are missing or broken. All 4 electric windows work as well, and only the windshield has a crack in it.   17. It doesn't move power anywhere. Its always half front, half back. STi's being the exception, of course. Now what the front and rear diff's do with that power is a whole other discussion.
  18. Hes talking about the fact that most Subaru diff's dont control where the power goes at all, its just 50/50, or 45/55 depending on who you get in an argument with. Most electronic diffs, including Audi's apparently, default to 50/50 when stuff breaks.
  19. It has to do with the AWD system. The car bucks like a motherfucker unless you work the clutch and the throttle a bit, at least on the older ones like mine.
