  1. I paid $135k for my house in Bexley two years ago....but I got it at an estate sale at roughly $50k under value....it's worth MUCH more than any of these new builds, and is in a great neighborhood. So there are deals out there, but far and few between. good luck. house searching can be fun and aggravating as fuck.
  2. Lego Star Wars 2 w/guide - $10 ^ I want this, where in columbus are you, and when are you available?
  3. google? edit. yup, just checked, they still do that kind of thing double edit, you have too many cars/bikes/toys for one person, care to share?
  4. whoa whoa whoa, tmi dude....but now i have to go to the i love thread and post about how much i love my gf because she's never done that.
  5. he said he'd take $2k for me, but its a 5hr drive round trip and ac don't work.
  6. How about this... rebuild it to stock specs (couple hundred) or buy another stock replacement... then spend $500 on a nitrous setup and SHIFT SLOWER. You'll have more power so you won't have to bang the gears to run a 13.8....lol. just playing with ya man, but seriously, nitrous ftw.
  7. please, if you have nothing informative to add here, please keep it oout of this thread. carry on...
  8. or if you're planning on beating on them, why not just have one built? or swap in a tko or t56 or something more stout?
  9. i'm pretty sure there is on one buckeye stangs for like $350/$400....but maybe you should just swap in an auto.....lolololol.

  12. really? pooo. i didn't think they were that small nor had that square of a trunk looking thing in the back... i was hoping it was a lotus 7 or caterham or similar, ya know.
  13. What's the silver thing behind the bike in the first pic?
  14. oh, ok, I had put 10% down to begin with at least. Well, at least you've got a roof over your head right? The value only truly matters when you need to sell.
  15. I refinanced 6months ago when rates were super low and was told I had nearly 40% equity, so I got a great rate. Guess I have gotten lucky so far, who knows what the future holds. Did you try and fight the appraisal? I have heard about people doing that but luckily we didn't have to.
  16. Damn. Where is this? Was it a relatively new subdivision? See I bought in Bexley, a community that had been been well established. We never considered new builds because we had heard horror stories, but granted this was in 2007. Well, I guess it could be worse, you could have lost $100k in value and been extremely screwed, if you're getting $148k and your neighbor just got $113k, I'd consider it a blessing and run, run fast.
  17. I think it depends on the house, but I bought my house two years ago for $130k and put 50k into it, and it appraised at $190k back in March 2009. So I'm comfortable selling it today, as I feel I have realized all of my increased value for the short term. In the next 5 years I do not see my house appreciating much at all, because of the market.
