  1. true, i guess i do have my own car, she won't drive the rx7.
  2. awesome, i wish i had the moola
  3. I dunno, we share both cars. We had a 2008 nissan quest until last weekend, and still have a 1998 Civic, (we're looking for another car right now), but technically the civic is in my name (i paid for it) and the nissan quest was in her name (she paid for it), yet I drove the quest 85% of the time and she drove the civic 85% of the time, it just worked out that way because I could get the kids to school easier/pick them up, etc, versus her, and she had a longer commute... so yeah, we had our 'own' cars per say, but we didn't drive them that much, it depended on the day, but usually i drove her car and she drove my car, what does it matter?
  4. haha, badass man. does it do hwy or no?
  5. is that new or used? what do those go for? that's sweet you can ride it on or off road, didn't know about those
  6. Found a 99 Subaru Forester w/ 163k miles, 5spd, for $2500, anyone have any experience with subaru's in this kind of mileage territory? Its cheap compared to others, but the miles kind of scare me.
  7. How they hell are the HP and TQ numbers always the same, stock or modified? I think that's crazy....but cool.

  9. I'm 99.999% sure its this one... http://www.impactguns.com/store/022188114232.html He sent me a picture of it last week and the model #, so I'm going off memory but I think that's it.
  10. True, but you can't have your cake AND eat it too. For that price and a 1993, if its an original 5.0/5spd car, and is actually as nice as it shows, that's a steal, even for a hatch.
  11. Somebody buy it! http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1355505741.html
  12. I don't understand how you would have even gotten a title let alone registered it in your name if there was still a lein on the vehicle...are you sure you didn't just get repo'd and you don't want to tell us?
  13. I have considered a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but my sister has a 99 and has had it for 4 years and had MANY problems. I also hate the ride. She bought it with 55k miles and it only has 80k miles on it, and she has spent thousands in the shop, even though been hooked up by Turborust here on the forum, he's serviced it since she got it and it's nickle and dimed her to death. Though it is the V8, but it hasn't just been engine issues. And she averages 10mpg and I hate the ride, lol.
  14. Thanks man, but not interested in a lifted one, and that guy said it has rust, so I'll pass. I'll let you know how this one checks out, here's the link, it looks clean in the pic. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1353747233.html
  15. Otay, We're going to check out this 96 jeep tonight, its probably not as nice as what we were looking for/willing to pay, but at this point we just need something to drive, and if its decent it'll do for now, and I'm sure that in the dead of winter I will be able to sell it for $2k anyways.
  16. Hey my daughter does swimming lessons there!
  17. I own a civic, lol, it's the daily, but no, I'd hate it with a lift kit and bigger tires.
  18. I'd say this is better... http://www.buckeyestangs.com/vb/showthread.php?t=23156 $3800obo for a california notch 5.0, c'mon, and white is HOTT It ain't mint, although damn close, but its also 1/3 of that asking price. This + Chad's turbo kit = PURE SEXXX
  19. Would you worrry about a 96 jeep w/ 150k on it for $2k? Sport model, 4x4, 4dr, power windows/locks/cruise, auto? It's got some miles but everyone says the 4.0l is indestructible, and $2k is a lot less than $4k.
  20. Yeah, not seeing any decent ones in terms of mileage/price. People want $5k for a 10yr old one w/ 140k miles.
  21. Same here, I agree on the price, but this is the cheapest by far. The next cheapest is $4995 for a FADED red one w/ 156k miles....I think they are crazy. Next cheapest is $5750 for a white one w/ 134k miles, again, lots of money for an 11 year old car w/ lots of miles. Gonna check on the Scion's, I found an 06 Xb w/ 14k miles, one owner for $7500 obo, I'd much rather pay $7k for a 3 yr old car w/ 15k miles than $4k for a 12 year old car w/ 175k miles.
  22. What do you guys think? http://www.villagecarstore.com/temps/details.cfm?searchvkid=498619 I'm sure I could get it for like $3500 OTD but those miles scare me, honda or not. Also, what do you guys think about the box Scion's? I've found some reasonably priced like 05/06's for around $7-$8k with 14k and 38k miles...but never been in one.
  23. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1337270257.html Just talked with that guy, apparently he doesn't want to sell it. He's firm at $5500, even though that's above the current value of it between NADA/KBB/Edmunds, and to top it off he hasn't even had the timing belt/waterpump done yet which isn't cheap and was due 5000 miles ago. Thanks for the links anyways Jason. Still searching
