from my 01 jetta, in decent/good condition. the middle trunk button is kinda rubbed off and the vw symbol on the back is chipped. still lights up when you push a button so you know the battery is good. this has a key in it but of course you can just pop it out. its also the newer design key chain holder, the metal bar at the end instead of the plastic corner job the older ones had. $10 picked up.

I used purple power in a spray bottle and shop rags on my rx7. I pulled the engine though so it made it a lot easier but I didn't even use the full bottle, maybe only half and I did the complete bay, kmember,and front suspension pieces, came out looking great.

welcometo the site, but i wouldn't swap your car, keep it as a daily and get another car for a project. vr6 jettas are so freaking cheap now compared to 5 years ago when I was into vw's, all the time and moneyin a swap ain't worth it, neither is having your car down for repairs. you can find vr6 jettas from $1000 and up. I bought one this past fall for a winter beater, paid $1200 for it, was pretty clean but an auto, it was a 98 w/ 125k miles, loaded etc. So yeah, spead like $1500-$2k on a clean mk3 vr6 jetta or gti and then turbo that thing, that'd be fun. good luck.

I have progressive for cars, pay $170/month for 2 drivers and 3 cars. And Erie on the home, pay $460/year.

I parted out the majority of the parts already, but in that picture it would've been around $2g's. As that's what I sold the rear/wheels&tires/hubs/etc for. I still have the front coilovers, front control arms (upper & lower), steering rack, rear control arms, and all the associated hardware including new bushings all around. I'd do $700obo for everything I have for it. Do not have the complete body, I have a hood/trunk/doors and some small trim pieces.
