  1. Mechanicsburg is only like another 15 min drive for me compared to powder room, and its a helluva lot cheaper and that weekend works better for me. Sign me up!
  2. fuck yeah, are we gonna do a cr blackfriday thing again this year? I want a flat panel for my bedroom.
  3. This one's cooler...the end at least....
  4. hey Mark, I *may* be able to use those intakes....will let you know this weekend if that's alright. Matt
  5. I wasn't aware the COLD was a reason to cancel the track day. That's good to know because I certainly don't want to be out there if its in the 30's or probably even 40's, that's what I meant by bad weather and how it was relayed to me by another person interested in signing up. I know I plan to be there, just trying to button the last few things up on the car.
  6. Oh and reason I asked is that I have two people that are interested in paying at the track as they don't know for sure if there cars will be done/what the weather will be like/if they will be free. And since it's only a $2 difference they'd rather wait.
  7. I understand that Paul, I was just going off this info...meaning that if we didn't have 30 by the week prior to the event, it would be canceled. Yet you can pay at the gate? If the event was canceled, there would be nothing to pay for at the gate.
  8. Why can you pay at the gate if there needs to be 30 paid and yet there are only 30 spots total? Got that list Anthony?
  9. I'm down for the $65 one...
  10. The town DOESN'T have a Fire Department now. They pay the fee to have coverage from a neighboring township fire department. It didn't state if the people that live within the township that has the fire department pay the fee or not, but I would assume not as it is covered in their taxes they pay between income and property, since they LIVE there. It is not called insurance, but it essentially is. What else would you call it? Basically they are doing it as a favor, and obviously not to profit off of, and this guy basically told them to go fuck themselves by not paying, so they did the same to him.
  11. So what you're saying is that you'd feel better being the ONLY person in town paying car insurance and having to 'pay' for everyone's cars to be fixed when they get into an accident? That's what would happen if they let people slide on simple shit like this. IMO, a $75 is NOTHING in comparison to other costs that come along with home ownership, so if they can't/don't pay it, oh well. And you can't say that the FD stopped treating people like people, as they stated they would rescue anyone trapped inside, but a person is not their belongings. Just like when people total their car, everyone says, oh its only a car, glad you weren't hurt. No one was injured in this situation, and if the homeowner had sufficient insurance he would be just fine. I think the homeowner failed 3 times in this situation. 1st, by starting a fire in some barrels near his residence, 2nd, by not paying his $75 annual fire department fee, and 3rd, by not carrying enough insurance on his property to cover damages. I mean damn, what else could he have screwed up?
  12. End it Nate...I'm sorry to say but it DOES NOT GET EASIER as people get older. She has to REALLY want to change, and obviously it doesn't sound that way. I've been in a similar situation and have made a definitive decision that I cannot and will not deal with it my entire life, it just simply isn't worth it not matter how much you like/love/care about the other person, it won't work out in the end. Sorry to hear man, best luck with everything.
  13. ^^^It's not the dollar amount, it's the PRINCIPLE I believe, which I stand behind the city/fire department for their decision. Another option is to have some obscene amount be due if you'd like help in this situation. I.E. Being prepared saves you money. For example, if you pay health insurance of $100/month for a year and only go to the doctor once, you probably didn't get your money's worth, but if you didn't pay that $100/month for the year and then had to go to the doctor and have a $5000 surgery, they'd still do it for you, but you'd pay much more than if you had had insurance. I would have offered to take a credit card over the phone in the amount of $5000, which I sure between salaries, equipment, and everything else it would be in the neighborhood of, and then put the fire out. That way he learned his lesson, his property hopefully was saved in some aspect, and the fire department wouldn't be out any funds to help someone they didn't have to. wow i rambled but hope that made sense.
  14. Sucks to be him, 100% his fault. Let it burn....
  15. Fine, I don't need to buy it. Good luck selling?
  16. My moms side is all alcoholics, and although most of them have gotten clean in the past 10-15 years, a couple haven't and they are a drain every way you can imagine, not so much on me but on my mom/grandma/aunts/uncles, etc Hopefully she isnt that close with them or they live far away and you only have to see them during holidays and such, otherwise you may be in for a rude awakening when you're actually 'family'.
  17. Then answer the question....jesus?
  18. fuck me you ben, im tired and not thinking, derrrrrrrr
  19. So is a half cord 2 feet high by 2 feet wide by four feet long? I mean that'd make sense but seeing as how I've never heard of a cord before...figured I'd ask. I'd be interested for sure!
  20. Hmm, cannot tell if sarcastic post or not....R6 in sig, R6 in ad....Hmm. Maybe I should email the guy selling it and see if it fits a 2" hitch or 1&1/4 hitch. And how much it weighs.
  21. May have to make my maiden voyage in the car to this....hmm.
  22. +1, ordered control arms from there last week and they were 1/3 the cost.
  23. Just checking here before I drop the coin on new ones for the November track day.... I can fit up to a 255/60/15 I believe, and currently have a 235/60/15 on the car fine, but would also use a 225/50/15 if available at a good price. Thanks
