  1. Sounds like someone else's thread I know....It's apparent people do not know how to read or comprehend on CR very well.
  2. :eek2: Dude, seriously? You've never had canes sauce? damn, you're missing out.
  3. Nice work...THORNE. I bet it feels awesome, that's some good power for a daily.
  4. Just registered as well. Looking forward to it and learning as well.
  5. oh, thanks for the heads up. Do i have to do anything extra to get cleared for use here in Ohio? and do I need to do anything/bring anything specific with me to the class? I'm gonna call tomorrow and talk to whoever, but just curious. Also, does it expire or anything?
  6. LOL, well i'm doing it, $50 and half a day, works for me. It'd be nice to do it knowing someone else there, but I hear ya on the remodeling fun...been there done that,
  7. So lemme make sure I'm reading this correctly....if I take this class I get a Utah CCW permit, but since Ohio and Utah are good with each other, it automatically satisfies my required stuff to have an Ohio CCW permit? If so I'm down. Evan, let's do it.
  8. fucking sick is what it is, damn!
  9. They are...he's retarded since they were on his Mazda6 for a bit.
  10. Thanks Brian, Congrats on the 10yr anniv and I appreciate all you've done and continue to do for me and my cars! We'll be in touch. -Matt
  11. ^^^That's retarded IMO. I don't even have half of what you have in "receipts for a non-running car" in my car, and it went mid 13's stock last week. With the other $6k I'm sure i could pull off low 10's or better. But hey, that's why this is America and you're free to do as you please.
  12. Damn, 12.7s @ 111mph stock. Very, very nice. Car looks the best out of the 3 as well. The Challenger comes in a close second....and then somewhere after that is the Camaro, although the yellow didn't do either car justice.
  13. Not sure what inexpensive is to you but a friend of ours just had her daughters 5year old party at Galaxy Games and Golf off 70 and Wilson I think? West side area. Anyways, for the pizza party/drinks, cake/ice cream, tokens for the kids to play some games, and the jungle gym thing, it was $12 a head, she had 10 kids including her daughter. So I didn't think that was that bad, they provided everything, cleaned up, and made it care free. Plus the jungle gym was big enough for me to crawl/walk around, so its nice that its bigger than magic mountains. They also offer putt-putt if you think she'd like that. HTH, dunno what 8 year olds think is cool, lol, mine's only 4 for now.
  14. yeah the bearing is most likely in the strut mount. And don't count on it being replaced if your car gets its spring replaced under warranty. My focus had the front springs cracked and they were replaced under recall, but they didn't replace ANYTHING else, not the struts, strut mounts, etc, didn't even re-align the fucking car after doing it either.
  15. upper strut mount i believe is what you're talking about, and the only way to check that is to remove the entire assembly, then remove it from the strut/spring. They are usually cheap.
  16. Ok, well another thing to look at is sway bar links and bushings. As well as control arm bushings. I know my gf's contour was making a clunk at low speed and it was the front sway bar end link. GL
  17. TRADE IT IN. No honestly, saabs are junk, hopefully the previous owner ate the resale hit for you so you don't suffer too bad. Otherwise, call Rob? Aren't you guys buddy buddy?

loving the turbo goodness, nice cars.
  19. Incorrect you dumb motherfucker. Yes, my girlfriend DID want to go home, it was midnight and cold, but we in no way rushed Brian, and WE DID street drive the car and set shift points, Brian even posted that on the previous page. Don't open your mouth unless you know the facts.
  20. Are you able to point me in a direction of what could be wrong, or is software needed to monitor everything? I just picked up plugs/wires/pcv/fuel filter tonight, and will probably get a colder tstat later this week, what temp should i go with?
  21. Brian did note that it didn't appear that anyone has messed with the car/tune before me bringing it to him, but again, anything is possible. I didn't make this post to complain about anything, or state that I wasn't happy with my car or dyno brians service. No, I made this point to ask about what other people shifted at and how high they made power, just to get an idea across the board. I got all the stuff to do a tune up so I will be doing that tonight, but other than that I'm not sure what else to do. I guess I should mention, since it is 4/10s of an inch taller than stock, is that i used 255/50/16 drag radials compared to stock 245/50/16 tires, not sure if that hurt me though. Brian, thanks for everything, the car makes great power I think, just not sure why its low on mph, but you can't know everything and every car is different. I'll see you later this week.
  22. Car is a 99, not sure if that matters. Car rolled 85k miles last week. I only know what the carfax tells me along with the dealer. According to the carfax a woman owned it from 2001/19k miles until last month when I bought it, it was traded in on a new buick. Otherwise no idea.
