  2. OMG are you really jack stand racing a car that is not even on jack stands yet ROFLMAO Well shit then,,,,I am going to build a top fuel car to run in the outlaw 8.5 class. I am assembling the parts now. I just ordered the valve stems for the tires so you had better be scared I'm confused? Is the clown with 32" X 14" tires making comments about big tire cry babies? I wonder if he is posting in 3rd party again? I got $50 that says you can not break out during qualifying in the 8.90 class at Thompson on Saturday 7-24-2010 I hope this doesn't confuse you putting all this in one post. I noticed it takes you about ten posts to convey a few simple ideas. :bangbang:
  3. That wont be a problem,,,,,,, your car doesn't go fast enough to break out
  4. GOD DAMN that is a big tire. If you new how to drive you could run a 295 radial like me.
  5. I know you are trying to tell me something with this paragraph but it gave me a headache half way through trying to read it. ****YAWNS****
  6. Thanks for correcting me,,,,,, Oh wait you dont know what the fuck you are talking about because Mark has NOT run an 8.80
  7. I just checked the list and #4 is atomicfusion (Mark) I dont see 1slow-z on the list anywhere. I take it this car is not together and we are jackstand racing?
  8. Quicker and faster than you :bangbang: The turbo should put out 22psi, I have only been running 14-15 psi at the track what are you trapping at 15psi *Edit I see from the fastest list you trap 150mph. I trapped that a couple weeks ago running 12 psi. Is your car broken? My 60' are week because I have been launching soft, No need to push the car, I am only trying to run 8.90,,,,,,,, Something you cant seem to get done. When was the last time you won a competition Matt?
  9. Just bring that junk to thompson for the 8.90 index race. Anybody can one pass wonder a good run. Lets see you do it everypass in competition
  10. me>all of you on nitrous or boost. Quicker and faster on both
  11. The 60' are low because I havent leaned on it. I am running the 8.90 easily.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XePmM_4ZRqE Video of pass you can see how soft it is still launching
  13. Went to Norwalk for the friday night chaos program. Still trying to get the tuneups right on the boost and launch rpm. First qualifying pass left lazy again 1.43 60 and a 5.895 1/8 ran it out to a 9.021 @157. I had taken 2 degrees of timing out from last week and almost a pound of boost wanting to get the mph down to 155 but it didn't move. I put another pound on the launch and upped the rpm to 4100 and it came out much better. I ran a 1.41 60' with a 5.78@125 1/8 and my first 8 second pass. On an 8.900 index I ran an 8.900. Obviously I was the number one qualifier last night. It was hotter than hell during qualifying and some long delays before eliminations. I had some slow cars to work though in the field so I took some boost and rpm out of the launch but as the sun went lower I kept going faster. see the other slip. Before tonight I had only ran high 5.8 1/8ths. my 9.02 last year was a 5.89. the second elimination pass was a 5.69@127 I had also never went 127 in the 1/8. That 1/8th pass was almost a full tenth faster than the 1/8 on the 8.9 pass, That would have been an easy 8.7 pass and I have not began to lean on this thing yet. Once I catch some good air and am not racing in these index classes I can let her eat. Next week is another 8.9 index race at Thompson. I lost in the semi finals do to a brain fart. I destroyed this guy on the tree and couldn't see him, let out to early and couldn't get enough back into it and he beat me buy a fender total screw up on my part. I still won $125 so at least I got gas money. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc122/koolrayz/8900-july16-2010.jpg
  14. Matt you have to have a three step to really be able to build boost. I took two two steps and run them in tandem using four relays. First step is at 2900rpm. I get close to the beams and floor the car so the bov will close, the car starts coming up on boost and I footbrake into the bulbs. as soon as the second bulb lights up I hit the transbrake and go to the second step at 4100 and launch at 9 psi. I can build as much boost as I like and cut a .057 light last night at Norwalk on a .400 pro tree
  15. Picture from Milan http://motorcitynationals.com/v-web/gallery/d/290821-1/TPG_1438+copy.jpg
  16. Get a bolt in Wolfe 5pt with a swing out bar and be done with it.
  17. Was at Milan over the weekend, 9.0 index class ran a 9.014 Won the event. I was there that night. To give you an idea how bad the track was my best 60' in 5 passes was a 1.60
  18. Best part is we all could read it :bangbang:
  19. No I have not noticed that? In fact my car if as fun as it ever was. Hike up your skirt, get some real seat time and get that car shaken out.
  20. I was launching so softly it was not lifting the tires at all. The logs show I was making the shift into high gear as the boost was peaking. Next week is door wars at norwalk. It is an 8.90 index. I will put a little more on the launch and ramp it in a little faster, It will be very easy to pick up the tenth I need for that race. That and the fact that we were racing in the blistering heat of the day and door wars is at night.
