I know I can't blow into either side.... the piece that it all slides into actually has 3 holes... 2 where the valve slides into and 1 that I have no idea... maybe both pieces of the valve are each hot and cold and the small hole goes up to the shower?

hmmmmm it all looks right..... except, the way my valve is installed the 2 holes are up and down instead of side to side...

I think maybe???? I know there is a plastic tab that allows me to control how far around I can open the valve.... I played with that and made it open about as far as I could open it.... is that what you mean?

no idea and I have no idea where to even look for it. would it help if I took the cover off and took pictures behind it? I can't remember how much you can see back there.

tried it both ways... plus there are notches in it making it difficult to put in backwards... the only weird thing is that when I put the handle on, it only will travel about 1/4 turn before it stops.... I kind of figured that it should have more travel room than that, but wouldn't know for sure. I tried messing with the one valve allowing more travel room and it didn't seem to help.

the valve is a cartridge... I have tried turning it and it appears to turn ok... give me a few, I'll go snap some pictures and post what it is so it will make more sense.

I can't take it back, all the plumbing is ran and the shower walls are already up... Dave, that would be cool if you could. PM me when is best for you

the valve kit (Delta) came with this plastic cap to test to make sure everything works.... if I screw that cap in instead of the valve, it sprays out the shower head (hot and cold) but if I put in the valve, nothing comes out... at first I was told it was the valve, so I called Delta, got another valve, and it is doing the same thing.

if I put the cap over where the valve piece goes, it turns on just fine, but obviously can't be turned off because there's no valve to shut it off.

so where's the nip?

pretty much it never kicks on when turning the valve on... if you put the cap over where the valve is supposed to be, the shower kicks on with no issue... FYI, it's a stand up stall type of shower

I finished my basement and when we put the shower in, my plumber thought that it was a broken valve causing the shower to not work properly.. I have sense had a valve replaced under warranty and it still does not work.... so I'm looking for a plumber with reasonable rates that could help me out. PM me if you need more details. Thanks!

don't need to kill someone, just need to stop them but as far as defending my family's life, I would rather stop them and torture the shit out of them, cutting them up piece by piece...

so I would like to get my CCW and would like to find a small pistol that is not a revolver as a side arm. I'd like to keep it ~200... anyone have anything? I might also be in the market for a shotty for home defense as well... nothing says oh $hit like the pumping sound of a shotty!
