it's actually fairly close on me... my car's computer says that I'm averaging 27.7 mpg, and it's saying 27.5 but something is messed up on it, because it's saying I get 450 on a tank of gas and right now my car is over 500 on this tank and I have 1/4 left? Nissan says that my car will do 680 if I drive all freeway...(which is most of my driving) kinda weird that they show lower numbers.

you do when the door opens... oh man, it's probably the scariest feeling I've ever had.... but once you leave the plane, you feel like you are flying and all you hear is the wind once you "arch" I didn't get the falling feeling at all until my chute was deployed and I was closer to the ground. (I was told it was all about the fact that everything is relative and the ground doesn't look like it's getting any bigger when you are up that high.) oh man, I just got that feeling in my stomach again of the door opening. I'll have to dig up pictures of my jump.

first time I jumped cost me over 200 dollars, so be prepared to bend over and take it. as far as being pushed out, you're strapped to someone.... I pussied out when the door opened and told the guy strapped to my back to go fuck himself so he just jumped and I went with him... was probably the most amazing rush you can ever have.... you do not feel like you are falling at all until the shoot opens.... it's weird!

Unfortunately, you are in the minority in today's scioety... and honestly, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

what about people like me who drive about 500+ miles a week because they live far from where they work as well as it is costing 20 dollars more on a tank of gas because we have larger tanks.... right now, I fill up about once every 4 days.... each fill up costs me in the ball park of 80 dollars... do the math... over the course of the month, I pay more to keep my car running than I do for my mortgage payment. (car payment + ins + gas) I do not drive a truck, I drive a 4 cyl Altima that is rated at 30+ highway miles a gallon. Also you are not seeing the bigger picture... for you, it might only be 15 dollars a week more in gas, but because of raising gas prices, now the prices of food and goods are going up as well because as we all know, the extra cost always gets put down to the consumer.... so that gallon of milk that we were paying 99 cents for a few years ago is now pushing 3 dollars a gallon. If you think that gas prices are only effecting your weekly fillup than you are being quite ignorant.

the man does have a point... if our military is controling the country anyways, why can't we control gas prices? Oh ya, because why would the Gov stop a cash cow for them as well? a co-worker and I were talking today, the prices not only effect the cost for us to get to and from places, but the costs of all products in general.... it's a nasty downward spiral that we need to nip in the bud now.
