Your block "should" handle 425-450rwhp with a good tune......Cams full exhaust and a Procharger would get you that with 10psi and with 4:10's and some Drag radials it would be a fun car. The key to an engine not blowing up is good tune,plugs and gas!!!

Forged shortblock with spray or charger......Or just do Cams, Longtubes, and charger with 4:10's and spray untill the block goes......."Dont fix something thats not broke"

Its a wet kit....You can run 100 shot on stock timing but he is running 28'degrees of timing...not sure what stock timing is on an LS-1? I would never run a 150 shot on stcok timing but thats just me cuz I dont have cash laying around for a shortblock. I think they say 2 degrees per 50 shot but thats on the safe side. Eric you should have just bought a mustang (flip chip) so you dont have to deal with this crap. lol.
