  2. Biased but..... I hate the upfront turbo cost but you dont have to fill n2o bottles all the time and the power is there when you want it.

  4. I never drive this truck, I am thinking about selling it and picking up a used truck for what my needs are. Will post pics up here in a day or two. 2010 Chevrolet Z71 1500 4wd LT 5.3 l with 6l80e 6 speed auto trans Z71 package Ext cab White ext/ Black Int Bedliner Truck has right at 8k miles on it towing package Tinted windows selling for payoff ~25.8k.   5. Bub, i worked on vw at dealer for 8 years, never seen that. the 2.0 is a super dependable engine. 2.0 single overhead cam motor not the turbo one. The newer ones are shitty. The autos can be junk but that 5 speed manual is good to go as long as reverse is not too noisy.

  7. 2.0 is a VERY dependable motor and everything is super easy to service. Id say 2k seems right with list about and without seeing pics

  15. Been getting some detail stuff taken care of before final assembly. I sent all of my cold side parts, down pipe and turbine housing to Nitro Plate in Tennessee. After all my searching these guys have unmatched quality finish and thermal protection. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0305.jpg I also found a guy who does powder coating and it is the best I have seen and his prices are phenomenal. Everything I have coated will now goto this guy, he is not local to me which sucks, but to be honest shipping this stuff is worth it. Some of the stuff I sent him was new and some things were either nasty or powder coated prior.   18. We were going to try out the UM Church in Etna Right there are 310 and Main. Its just behind the town hall east of 310 off of rt40. They have a contemporary service but have a traditional service earlier.
  19. best shop to actually diagnose the problem before I just pull the trans and send it for a rebuild?
  20. My buddy has an 04 tahoe 5.3 4x4 all the time. He just called me ( I have not looked at it yet) and said that is will shift from 1-2 then rpms spike and wont go past 2nd. truck has 100k on it. I have been reading other boards and they seem to have a bunch of smaller problems not necessarily rebuilds needed. Anyone know anything about this trans and possible problems. I will assume its a 4l60 variation and not an 80 but I am not sure what vehicles the 80 went into
