Well I have been putting it off for too long and heard about brent here on CR. He came to my house one evening and looked at the door and put an estimate together. Came out today and did a high lift conversion on my garage door so that I can use all the ceiling potential that my garage had to offer. Now I can have the door open and stand flat footed (6ft tall) under the lift or park another car under the lift. Slow progress as usual but the trans is back in with the new ptc converter and braided lines from the remote cooler to trans. All the feed line and return fuel line is installed. Installed some new wilwood brakes up front and bought new aluma star wheels for the front. I love the look of stainless, and I spent an assload on material. but I had the downpipe (mild) and cold stuff (mild) coated by nitro plate. And Once I get some more money and if the stainless turns to not looking so good I will send it all to nitro plate. You cant beat that stuff for the price and quality. I am pretty much down to some petty stuff on the car and then the wiring which I hate doing and then it will be time for a tune. The wiring hopefully will come out pretty slick. I am going to build a control panel and got some pretty cool stuff for it. if you google meanyellowz he has a super budget way of putting together a 5.3 swap and then of course you got the turbo stuff. Its unreal to me why anyone wants to mess with gen1 stuff anymore unless you are restoring something or know carbs real well. For me at least when you add up a mild built sbc or bbc (starting from scratch) you cant compete with the price of doing a fuel injected gen 3+ motor. I bought my 5.3 from deer creek with no core for 350 and when i changed to 6.0 I bought a complete motor from them for 425.00.... but thats shopping for a deal for a while

city of columbus has an ordinance for discharge in city limits its a misdemeanor. each city is different. Im not sure what reckless conduct is? Here that may equate to disorderly conduct, I guess I would need to see the elements of the crime on paper.

HMM interdasting. If there was no ordinance for discharging a weapon within city/township limits then I would do that all day here in ohio but I guess its a New Hampshire thing. I am guessing he was not "arrested" more so issued a summons to appear for the charges and then the felony packet or whatever was sent to the prosecutor or grand jury. Stories like these are always disconcerting but I guess we dont know all the facts either.
