Yep - one of my favorite mods. Actually as I put the list together I realized I have a lot more into to it than I thought. I have a lot of money and effort in the car that cannot be seen. I am very proud of the fact that everything was installed in my garage. I had a lot of help from club members but I have done a lot of the mods on my own. I am not taking anything away from those who pay someone else to do it - I am just proud that I got my hands dirty on my car.
I had it painted to match the car. They are black stock.
As far as the springs are concerned I just got the car running today but ran it quite a bit and I am REALLY impressed. They feel softer than stock somehow but the car is much more controlled. By the end of the year I will replace the shocks to compliment the springs but the funds are not there for now. They really should be done at the same time but you all know how it goes.
It adds 5 horsepower -
Seriously that is the part I am most torn about. It looks better than the black and I did not do all of the wires - just some. The best way is to re-wrap the wires smaller and hide them but I am not going to tackle that this year. If you mess up 1 connection it will take weeks to figure out which one!
Thanks for the compliments
I put some Hotchkis lowering springs on my T/A - I love the new stance. I cannot go any lower due to my headers / off road Y-pipe.

Also cleaned up the engine bay - I hope to make it out to some events this year and check out some of the other cars!
+1 - it was the best one I have seen
They should change the name of the show to "Sandbaggers" - I liked when the Camaro guy told his crew "I didn't even use the 2nd stage"
I think we just need to test this. If only we had a twin turbo Z06 which had a driver willing to run 200 mph.....
And then we would need a top fuel dragster - too bad we don't have a NHRA drag team based out of central Ohio....
We can dream can't we?
Mine came from the factory with the incomparable LS1 ;-)
(also a self destructing rear end)
The wheels are off of a 2000 WS6 and are very rare (< 200 sets reportedly)
LS2 powered GTOs are not slow - true story. They may "feel" slow because they are heavy and have a relatively soft suspension but they are not slow. I would like to know what your friend was comparing the GTO to?
Pontiac is considering a replacement in the lineup for a RWD performance vehicle, but does not have anything to announce yet, Hopson says.
*cough* Firebird *cough* :-)
Anyone know anyone that works on hot tubs? I know mine has a sensor that is bad but have NO idea which one or how to fix it. I will probably call Scioto Valley in the am just figured I would see if anyone had a good suggestion.
Am I the only one that noticed it has 327 miles and has already required service?? At a cost of $23K. I will give you that if you can afford this car then the maintenance is not a problem but come on!
