Thanks all - I have been back and forth on this since I bought it. I wanted a white one with orange racing stripes - if it was white no question I would put stripes on it. The color makes it difficult - I will post a pic of white - it looks pretty hot but I do like the clean look it has now.

I have 315s on back...275s on front. Stock is 275 on back.

Completely agree it is what I want - but nothing wrong with getting opinions of people i respect (for some unknown reason ). Besides it is winter...

They are 275/40 on 10" wide wheels - that is the spec'd aftermarket size but some do 285/35 to cut the sidewall a bit

That would actually be cool to see the production drivetrains in them. If they are really limited to a 10" wide tire (I have 11" wide wheels on my Camaro so know they fit - might even be able to go 12") that makes sense but you would have to assume there are other ways to accomplish it. it will all come down to how much it is and how much it improves the performance. I am sure it will look cool - I Love the Challenger's styling until you put it next to another car- then it looks cartoonish.

Guys - comparing the Challenger to another fatass car does not make a wide body version of the Challenger make more sense.

And? I would not want the Camaro to be wider either

I am looking at Vettes and CTVs (as usual) and trying to convince my self an auto is OK as it greatly increases the selection. I just cannot do it. While there is no question I would be faster with an auto (the new 10 speed auto in the ZL1 is awesome) I just like changing gears myself.

My parents had a 2010 VW CC and complained about the DSG Auto literally every time I spoke to them. The dealer reflashed the trans computer a couple of times but they still hated the feel coming to a stop and accelerating from a stop slowly. Most non-car people will prefer a slish box to the DSG or similar.

If JT does not start nailing the long ball no one will respect it and they will crowd the box. For example, he HAS to hit that pass to Ben Victor against Clemson - he was behind the defense. I do understand though, maybe he does not trust the WR to get open and has to hold the ball until they are actually open. By then they are either too deep or we get a sack.

It seems redundant but I do not want to miss the opportunity to thank Derek and recommend Best One Tire. I had them out to fix 2 leaky tires on my Suburban and 1 on my daughter's Eclipse. The Suburban turned out to be the classic GM corrosion on the wheels. Derek's guy spent a good amount of time cleaning up the wheels and remounted them. A few days later they seem to be fixed. On the Eclipse, they found it was leaking through dry rot on the sidewall:(. Derek was able to get me a new set of tires installed the next day to ensure I got it fixed before my daughter went back to school. Give him a call!

My wife bought me a set of Sony over the ear, wireless with noise cancellation and I really like them. They are clearly not as good as the Bose ones but at half the cost they are really nice.
