  1. I am planning to go but likely won't make registration
  2. Wish I could have made it - I fixed my convertible top this morning. Thanks to the interwebs anything can be fixed
  3. Somebody put a lot of work into that thing. 60k? Lol
  4. Surprise unveil of the ZL1 Vert....mmmmm http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160324/90a1d35706f5d66626f9200dac3ded07.jpg
  5. Some day I would love to own something similar. To me, that is a perfectly done 79 Trans Am.
  6. Thanks Scott but apparently the Camaro shifter and Corvette are different. Per a guy at Hurst that contacted me this morning the thread pitch for my shifter (3916030) is 3/8-16.
  7. I want to buy a new shifter knob but need to know the thread size. I have the Hurst Billet Plus shifter in my 2011 Camaro 6m. Can someone confirm the thread size is 3/8"-16?
  8. Thanks guys - I missed deleting the portion from "&time..." on. On the video, I would not buy an auto but it does look fast. Rumor has it that the ZL1 on stock tires (which are pretty "street oriented" is faster than the Z28 was on the Trofeo Rs.
  9. I followed Brian's tutorial and it still does not work - I am old...
  10. This would be an awesome color on the ZL1: http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160319/36f3896bf4a342a2204e4f3a9169dadd.jpg
  11. I cannot stop looking at the intake...beautiful piece
  12. Very nice - welcome to the site!
  13. If I had a place to put it I would have already bought.
  14. You want really crazy? 60k trucks and 75k Suburbans! I am with you on new cars - I have not bought a new car in 10+ years.
  15. Keep in mind the 1LE is 1SS only so add 3500-4000 tops to a 1SS and that should be the 1LE pricing. I think the ZL1 will be 60-65k with very limited options - they came loaded before.
  16. Good stuff man - impressive work!
  17. Most are saying the ZL1 will be about 60K. I am thinking 65k which will put it right on top of the Hellcat, which I think it will beat in every performance category (previous ZL1 was close and this one is 60 HP stronger and 200 pounds lighter, not to mention the 10 spd auto). It will be fun to watch.

  20. On another note - the 640i Grand Coupe is one of the nicest looking sedans I have ever seen. I was drooling over an M6 a few weeks ago - white with dark gray wheels. So sexy
  21. I do hate the ZL1 badge on the front and back bumper. I am not sure those would even make it off the lot before I removed them if I bought one
  22. There is still a "hole" in the line-up to compete with the GT350R. The 1LE has the GT350 covered (performance wise we can argue styling and the "value" of the "special engine" but not the performance). Ford will answer the ZL1, I think, with the GT500. The ZL1 is not the GT350R competitor. There is hope, though fading, that Chevy will march out a stripped down track rat Z28 to compete with the GT350R.
