So instead of putting that money in a savings account or something that can build interest you waist it on silly shit. Hell if you had to spend it put it towards your busted car. If not save it for when you have to start paying back those loans, would make for a nice buffer till she found a job that made enough to live off of plus pay on the loans once you are comfortable use the money set aside to pay back a good chunk of the loan.

I work for Nationwide. Been here for over 10 years now 9 of which was working at the help desk, it was a OK job that paid the bills and allowed me a lot of time to spend with my boys as they grew up. Now I am Production support Practitioner with the NFIT operations team. My primary job is basically admin work, order PC's ,ID's and make sure my department has the access and rights they need to do thier jobs, I also do java code releases for the teams when needed. I love it here I work with great people I can pretty much set my own hours and do what I need to get things done and no one questions me. Money is decent as well. Won't get rich but I can take care of my family.

My mom had stage 3 ovarian cancer as well.Not gonna lie it was hard but see sick at times but she fought it to the end. Dr. gave her 6 months to a year and she survived 18 years before she lost the battle. Stay strong and think positive and hope for the best.
