We got to the Hilliard Y and not have had a single issue as for equipment useage it all depends on the time of day.
  2. stopped there before work since I knew the thermal fuse was bad. ordered the part (which cost the same as online) and will have in on Thursday. He was also able to answer my questions about the Thermistor. The Fuse was the issue.
  3. OK so I checked for continuity on the elements, Thermostat, High Limit Thermostat which all check out. The Thermal fuse and the Thermistor failed but I am not sure if I can test the Thermistor for continuity. Anyone know of a way to test to make sure its bad.
  4. Had my neighbor check the power and its good so its in the dryer.
  5. I have gotten parts from them before but I dont think they have service manuals.
  6. OK so I have a Amana dryer #ned7200tw. It is no longer blowing hot air. Figured it was the element but not it's good and tests fine with a multimeter, I have also reset the breaker to make sure is was not a pole issue. So found these to be the common issues. 1. Insufficient Power at Receptacle (220 volts req'd) 2. Failed HEATING ELEMENT 3. Failed / Faulty THERMISTOR 4. Failed THERMAL LIMITER (check vent system--completely) 5. Damaged Wiring at Terminal Block (where plug enters dryer) I am unsure of were the thermostats are cant find a service manual for the dryer or the specs for the stats. Secondly I am not comfortable testing a dryer at the 220 with a multimeter. (electrical scares the shit out of me.) Anyone know were I can find the service manuals and what sensors to look at?

    Progress.

Hell I had to clear with my teacher and the principal but I did the same with my guns when I was building a gun cabinet. was zero issues. one thing I did like from this article was every school should be the same way. they all should have cameras and all doors locked from the outside and you have be buzzed to get in.
  8. lol you must be doing something wrong then.
  9. nope found the main issue the other day was the first real chance I had to look at it in the daylight without it being too cold. power steering fluid was a bit low. topped it off and noise is gone there is a bit of belt noise still replaced the belt and its less but still there. what makes it so hard is it will only do it under load. Cordell have me a hand with it today. Thanks again man. kinda had him stumped as well. I may look at it tomorrow some more but now not overly worried as its not going to leave the wife stranded and its not annoyingly loud.

  11. tonight after getting off work it really did not like the cold. I is definitely a bearing that is whining now. It was just too cold for me to look will probably pick up a scope at HF tomorrow and try to look at it some more.
  12. Bringing this back up from the deadish. So I have replaced the water pump, belt, alternator, and the belt tensioner. There no a slight chirp/ticking sound but it only happens under acceleration, nothing at idle and nothing when I rev the engine. Would like to maybe meet up with someone to have them listen to it to see what their thoughts are.
  13. PC will still post with a dead battery will just post with a error about bio setting not saved.

  16. Welp, looks like it was the alternator it gave up the ghost this morning replaced it and all seems good now.
  17. Noise is now completely gone on its own. Guess I will keep a eye on it if and when it comes back.
  18. So this morning drove the van to have a shop look at it and the noise is gone. Well as far as I can tell its gone I am now paraniod of what was normal and whats not. This was also the first time I have put any miles on the van (maybe 10 or 15) since it started to quiet back down. Sooo confused by this.
  19. old belt was way bad I cut it to take it off.
  20. OK, fuck me went out to take a vid of it and its so faint now the camera will not pick it up.
  21. Ok, replaced the water pump got it all back together and is still making noise. I am at a complete loss. Anyone have any ideas or hell some time to come over and maybe have a look to try to help me? Just trying to avoid takeing it to a shop.
  22. OK so after some more digging the water pump is making a rubbing noise when a turn it by hand. So I am thinking thats it.
