  1. I have Rubi wheels and now some BFG KM Mud Terrains in the back of my truck. I need to find a place to get em mounted/balanced. Already got Spidertrax spacers on it with the 16" steelies along with a set of JKUR 19/59 springs and Rubi red shocks.
  2. I know, but I don't plan to do a lot of off roading so why spend the $ at all? MALL CRAWLER FTW!!
  3. I wanna build a '55-56 ford with a turbo'ed modern mill.
  4. I would, but I don't think you could handle how insanely cheap I am.
  5. This 35's you'll have to remove the front air dam, maybe flat fenders. I had 35's for mine and didn't want to fight with everything to make em fit so i'm dropping back to 33's. My advice, if you go Rubi take offs, get a whole set with tires and TPMS unless you have a specific tire size or brand in mind. I got a set of the newer Rubi wheels for $200 but finding tires hasn't been very successful. I would have been WAY ahead of the game spending the $600-1000 for a full set with tires and TPMS as opposed to buying everything separately.
  6. I used to run my Festiva and minivan at my drag days, that was fun. I'm not about to tear up my Jeep's clutch running it "because".
  7. You've never driven a Jeep. People would die of boredom before I hit the 1/8th mile mark.
  8. I like my Jeep. I was in the same boat as the OP trying to decide on a toy car and out of the blue I just bought a Jeep. The hate flowed through just about everyone and I was cast into the depths of BC's basement for punishment since I would no longer be attending drag days. In the long run though, I really enjoy the Jeep and it's a LOT more fun with kids. I suspect your dogs will enjoy it just as well. I agree with many others though, if you are 2nd guessing it, go drive the others and clear your mind. If you get the Jeep without even trying the others, you'll likely end up wanting to dump it later and may not give it a fair chance either.

  10. I don't do texts, work phone and they frown on it. email or PM is fine. gillbot@hotmail.com
  11. IMHO, if you have the room these are a better idea. By the time the kids get into playing on the electrics, the batteries get weak. Some of the 50cc ones even have a remote so you can kill the engine if needed.
  12. http://modifiedpowerwheels.com/ There are quite a few other sites out there too.
  13. Big ass rubber bands on the tires. Some people cut out sections of innertube for the same, or you can go to ebay and buy "traction bands" but if you do, you run the risk of trashing the gearbox. Since there is no protection for the gearing, the slipping tires are the "safety" to keep from trashing the gearing.
  14. The batteries don't last for shit in the grass IMHO. Get a few batteries with a GOOD charger or the batteries will get ruined. I bought 3 off of craigslist and they were fine, but be weary if they don't have a battery and won't let you try it. Odds are it's busted and they don't want you to know it. They claim they don't have a battery for you to test it. If you plan on getting more than one, get ones that take the same battery. THet will save you headaches in the long run.
  15. Not sure if it has enough output but for my wife's old car I used one of these: http://www.harborfreight.com/battery-float-charger-automatic-69594.html I cut off the clamps on teh end and wired in a 12v cigarette lighter adapter like this: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=265-272&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pla That way she could pull in the garage, lower her window and plug the cigarette lighter in and it would keep the car topped off till she drove it again. Many cars, the cigarette lighter is wired right into the battery circuit and isn't keyed.
  16. I have 4 BF-Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2 tires I'd like to trade for something similar but smaller in a 32/33" tire. (There's really 5, but the 5th is bad. You can have it for a spare if you want to try and get it mounted.) http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/820/ipfu.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/203/4lsg.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/96/gvsn.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/842/qecg.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/41/5s00.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/853/znej.jpg http://imageshack.us/scaled/medium/21/0e75.jpg After looking into what all I need to do to get 35's to fit well, I don't think I want to get into all of that since my Jeep won't see that much off road. Shoot me some offers, I know someone out there wants some 35's!! (I do too but my wife is already complaining!) I WILL NOT SHIP. I may be willing to meet but I'm currently in a cast so the meeting area will be very limited. I'm near Youngstown, Ohio for those wondering.
  17. I'm seeing it with my own eyes, that's all the proof I need. If you aren't seeing it, your head is either in the sand or up your own ass.
  18. Have you read any of this thread at all? It is destroying jobs.....
  19. Never said he was, but wisdom never stops accruing. (well, until you die but then we could all agree that Lebron could finally beat Jordan when he's dead. )
  20. Personally, I think wisdom would prevail. While Lebron may be younger, Jordan is MUCH wiser.
  21. The government could stay down for all I care, America will live on without it.
