  1. Nobody ever reads the posts, don't you know that.
  2. Tach It Up motorsports is highly regarded by all the Corvette guys around Dayton, not sure if you want to go that far though. http://www.tachitupmotorsports.com/
  3. Agreed, typically 1 step in gearing isn't worth the cost and effort. Also, look for a good reputable 4x4 shop. Those guys eat and sleep gearing.
  4. The atom is a pile of shit, and that's being nice but for what I paid I don't care. It's better than me buying high end parts and unloading them later for less than what I paid after I lose interest yet again. I know i'll never finish it and if I do actually make it do something, it'll be simple like playing MP3's from a folder so I hope it can at least handle that.
  5. http://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-half-inch-drive-click-type-torque-wrench-239.html I have one and we put it on the calibration checker. The dam thing was more accurate than my Snap-on model!! However, for heavy duty use I don't know how well it would hold up. Though I guess if you have the means to check it, at the price it would be worth it to toss and get a new one when it strays too far.
  6. It can be the gears if they are completely stripped out. That happened on my wife's trans am, the gear was completely trashed so it wasn't even making contact any more.
  7. I always start building a carPC, then I get to the meaty part of it like the screen, mounting and such so I get lazy. I let it sit forever and usually sell off the thing before I finish it. The last one I attempted was a 3770k ITX based rig with 16gb ram because those were the parts I had around. This time I have a cheap-o Atom powered ITX one with a measly 2gb ram but the plus is it doesn't need ATX power. It runs from native 12v so it saves needing a power supply and can be wired right in to the ignition. I'm sure it'll sit on a shelf forever though and i'll never finish it either.
  8. That's all you need, another one... MULLET's for everyone!

  10. I'd rock another Town & Country in a second. My only requirement is stow-n-go seats.

  12. I dumped the nest in favor of the Honeywell WiFi model, but either are suitable if you want the control. I use SkyDrive for linking files. Logmein Ignition for remote access when needed.
  13. Artificially driven up panic prices are coming back.
  14. Mostly Freecell and Facebook, but close!
  15. My main PC has 64gb but I plan on upgrading it at some point to either a dual socket LGA2011 with a pair of 8 core and more ram or just staying single socket LGA2011 with as much ram as it can handle. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2613613 Yeah, OCZ lol.....
