I just made up a date, picked dell, and for model I put laptop. Didn't ask me to enter a key or anything. Downloaded the install, picked install later and made a DVD. Read the thread there, it has all the details, tips and tricks. I'm debating on grabbing 5 more just because.

I was doing the same, from what I've read on tech and a few other places the "fix" is somewhat easier. Most just use the LT1 upper radiator support and pipe it to a K&N FIPK or a simple K&N cone right off of the end of the pipe and discard the LS1 lid and airbox since it's a restriction anyway.

And you wonder why I don't give you respect? Seriously? Go troll someone else. If I were in Dayton it would be easier but i'm not gonna drive over there to check a part or something. Plus, it's frankensteined on that vehicle so there is no guarantee it'd fit on mine without having to modify things. We all know, when you get into modifying things to fit, it never goes as planned.

I've heard that story before though. Then when you try to get it on there you get nickle and dimed into buying all kinds of other shit and when it's all said and done you got as much into it as a new one would have run. I am tempted as hell though.

If I were sure I could get it installed and working without having to bastardize it too much, i'd be on it like Evil8 on milk challenges.

Too bad you aren't closer to my neck of the woods. We are desperate for "wrench turners" to build equipment for the gas boom. They make damn good money, even more if you know valves, electrical and can weld.
