  2. I'm sure he wants a reliable person who can work the season, I don't think that's unreasonable. Also, as for liability, that's the gamble both parties take. Don't like the risk, don't do the job. Simple.
  3. To some extent I disagree. The problem is the youth thinks everyone goes to college they deserve a job. If they put in the hard work and earn it, yes, but many don't want to put in the hard work.
  4. LOL Bank account..... Like I said, this isn't a career, it's an honest wage. If I were closer and was available for the time I'd do it for the extra cash. I did this all through college taking nearly any job I could find under the table. Not once did I put a penny in the bank, everything was done via cash. Yup, they are willing to EARN their money. Sadly the youth of today isn't. Exactly
  5. craigslist, http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95966 :lolguy:
  6. 10/hr under the table IS good money, and who pays tax on under the table money anyway? If you are that concerned with all of that, you should be looking for a CAREER not a labor job to begin with.
  7. Plus society is teaching the youth that if they go to school, they'll get a job making 6 figures doing nothing but playing games all day. Somewhere along the lines, someone has to be a janitor. Not everyone can be a CEO.
  8. yep depends on where you live, the problem isn't making ends meet, it's with living outside your means
  9. I've been looking for a '56 for this very reason, except the 9's part. :lolguy: 5.3 bored as far as it can go with boost. It would be fun as hell IMHO.
  10. i'm in the same boat. if I don't get what i want out of the car it'll sit until I can enjoy it better.
  11. then make one of the lever type http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/5626/valvespringtool.th.jpg http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/3531/valvesprgtl.th.jpg http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/1736/fc24efb1.th.jpg
  12. just go to jegs or summit and buy it, it's well worth the investment and it's not that expensive.
  13. I initially ordered one then later cancelled it. I was going to try to run it as an HTPC using XBMC but decided to wait for more reviews and better support after it had a chance to mature a little.

I'm less concerned with accuracy and more with cost. Need cheapies for zombie plinking stockpiles. ;-)

Where do you guys get it? Crates of surplus? Small boxes of non-corrosive at the local store?
  17. I was gonna suggest microcenter. You typically can't beat their pricing.
