  1. That's along what I was thinking as well. There are a few online new in the $419 range, stock comes and goes though. The Magpul Mag and Wolf ammo are cheap overall and don't really add much to me. I was thinking of telling him $400-425 for the lot and see what happens. If anything, it would save me the wait and shipping.
  2. Here's the ad, someone will probably score it from under me if it's a good deal but o-well. http://www.armslist.com/posts/346470/meadville-pennsylvania-rifles-for-sale--ar-upper-5-56--223 I asked him if it was firm, he came back with:
  3. was offered one on armslist, not sure if it's a good deal tho
  4. couple more sold, only a few left
  5. they are easy to find, hard to find if you are cheap like I am.....
  6. I'm in no rush, as my lower is still delayed but i'm looking for a deal on an upper. This is my first build so it most likely won't last after I get it completed and start messing. I'll end up wanting something better so I don't want to drop a lot of dough into it. I may consider other uppers too if the price is right.
  7. Couple sold, still have a couple more
  8. Dunhams is cheaper for "typical" Mosins. Got bored and snapped this too: http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/893/unity2012033000027.th.jpg
  9. Still nothing. People pop in then never get back to me.

  11. Anthony's nuts must be dragging the ground with all this swinging.
  12. That's why we need Ray in here. He's more fun than an old dude making fun of people driving trucks at the track whining about firesuits.... Wait... :masturboy: Only if you can carry it when we race and rap while doing so.
  13. Look i'm posting in another thread where Matt is arguing with someone. Where's Ray to top it off?
  14. I think it's 1942, i'll snap one of it later though.
  15. That was my thought, just wanted to hear what others thought as well.
  16. Used to have it, got screwed once and never bothered to renew. I figure i've saved that $100/yr over the span of 10+ since i've dropped them so even if a tow did cost me $500, I'm still $500 ahead. BUT, I also know that i'll most likely break something so i'll just wait until the local track opens and break there. That's only a ~20 mile tow.
  17. Is there really a need to take a cleaning kit to the range? I mean, I get that it's corrosive but many recommend taking a cleaning kit to the range. Are they just being over zealous?
  18. Why all the hate on corrosive ammo on these? I mean, that's all they used to shoot in them. I just don't see the big deal if you take the time to clean and maintain it.
  19. Thanks to Chadz89GTA for the hookup! http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/4021/unity2012032700023.th.jpg http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/3874/unity2012032700022.th.jpg http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/8439/unity2012032700021.th.jpg http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/7814/unity2012032700020.th.jpg Nothing special, laminated stock 91/30. Can't wait to shoot it.

  21. I'll be there, thinking i'll be leaving the giggle at home though. Stock 4L60E + 10 bolt + stock bottom end + long drive + giggle = expensive tow if I break. Not sure I wanna risk it.
