That's why i'm spraying mine. If the tranny or rear takes a shit i'll just not do that again. Luckily I have a spare rear to throw in, been looking for a rebuild-able trans to have in case.

Maintaining streetability, IMHO, spray that bitch. Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have left mine 100% stock, put a nitrous converter in it then hit it with a 150 or 200 shot. :fuckyeah: Not to mention the years of tuning, tweaking and changing parts to make it "work right" together. All the money i've spent swapping parts to date, I'd be way ahead to have left it alone and spray it. One of the biggest reasons I never drive mine is the cam lope and noise. Hard to roll out of the garage at 4am and keep it quiet so the neighbors don't call the cops. It's not like I care, aside from the constant hassle.

This is the route I was going to go myself until I got a superb nitrous kit for not more than a song. I figure if the car stays together through me spraying i'll prepare it for boost later.

this ^ I plan on spraying mine into the 10's I hope. Then trying my best to take it easy, leave it be and prepare for a bigger upgrade later on when I feel like putting out the upfront $ for a full boosted setup.

When I was rocking my Festiva in Dayton, it had Duct Tape stripes up over the hood, on the window, across the roof, and down the back hatch across the glass. I used to get thumbs up everywhere. It was way rad.

When we bought out house in Dayton we didn't realize it was a smokers home. They had it covered up well when we went on the tour. After we bought it and it was empty, you couls smell it and see the yellowing on the walls. We got some good carpet cleaner and scrubbed the carpets, bleached the tile floors and used Kilz Oil based primer on every wall and ceiling. After that, not s single hint of smoke smell, but it was a hell of a lot of work. Unless this is THE house you want, look for another or be prepared to do a lot of cleaning.

I have both, though right now more options in 2.5" 40gb, 80gb, 160gb, 500gb and 1tb. shoot me an offer, no idea what newegg/microcenter is selling them for right now. for 3.5" I think all I have is a 250gb, maybe a 320gb.
