  1. I may drop my plate also. Been thinking about changing it anyway.
  2. I bought a cheap-o ebay stick welder to learn on. Went to a few scrap places and got free pieces of junk metal and started burning rods. If you want to do serious welding like shaving parts, you need the cleanliness. Get a GOOD mig or TIG.
  3. I've heard cable TV isn't that bad but I can't say for sure.
  4. Still haven't gotten to drive the car yet and see if my trans is gonna shift. I wish this rain would go away.
  5. Well, it is primarily driven by women.
  6. Some badass vids: http://dayton-fbody.com/DFBAbb/viewtopic.php?t=1841
  7. So far, no ticking. Must have just needed a good flush and fresh oil. I guess 2 year old oil is bad, who knew? ROFL!
  8. Chrysler Town and Country my couple of 15-16 sec passes at the last event should be easy to duplicate.
  9. 614Streets 614 ColumbusRacing.com 2009 Sponsor Class act for sure.
  10. lucky i'm in the 330 or i'd challenge you for that title.
  11. same here, my wife looked over my shoulder and said "i don't get it".
  12. if i can't get my lifters to stop ticking, i'll be rocking the minivan.
  13. i was thinking the same thing. Splash resistant maybe, waterproof? LOL
  14. I have a Clarion in car unit and it can run on batteries. Has a nice 4.3" screen and is nice for taking road trips. If you run into construction or delays, it will route you around it.
  15. It is a pony car, not a sports car. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_car http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pony_car
  16. I knew that comment would stir the pot, but usually from what i've seen it's older men driving camaros, older women driving TA's and younger men/women driving the v6's.
  17. Yeah, the production numbers are all over the place on these cars. I think GM just started shoveling garbage out in '02 because they were fooling people into believing they were "collectible". EDIT: My personal opinion is called the "blue hair" factor. Most of the TA's you see are driven by women, mainly old blue haired ones. (sorry TA fans, my wife also agrees.) They are less likely to mod and sell them where the camaros are purchased mostly by younger guys so they are more readily available in the for sale market.
  18. I don't doubt that, but my original question still wasn't answered. EDIT: That's also like saying the '02 SS models are rare and hard to find when they were produced in higher numbers than the Z28 for the '02 model year IIRC.
  19. they are not that rare or hard to find.
  20. I'm not arguing anything. There are legit uses for just about anything out there. I fail to see the need for auto and semi-auto guns for public use also, but i'm not closed minded enough to think there isn't a legit reason for them. Hell, i'd love to go to the desert myself and use a minigun to mow down an old car.
  21. If a 12 sec TA with 28k is worth 12k+, what is an 11 sec Z28 with 12k on the clock worth? I fail to see the value myself, but maybe it's because i'm a cheaper bastard than Anthony!
  22. Competitive target shooting. There are groups and people that use these guns legitimately.
  23. You can get a decomm'ed M107 for MUCH less than that.
