  1. H22 4 door is a sleeper, dont hate on what the dude likes. 4 doors are not much heavier than any other civic
  2. My buddy bought your swap for his 4th gen lude and it made his F22 look like a B16 tongue.gif
  3. I think reading this topic made me stupid. Go H22, it will dominate the B16 in everyway. Its like comparing a Corvette to a Metro, which one would you take? After all said and done the H22 will cost a little more but hey its worth it. They make harnesses and everything for that swap now so it is pretty much just the same as any other B series swap besides the linkage. And for people saying it will handle like shit, you obviously havent rode in one. Ive been in H22 tegs and civics and they dont handle any different than any other motor on the STREET. And just to clarify something on the 2nd gen tegs. in the US they came with B18A's from 90-93 and they also had the B17(practically a B16) which was in the GSR from 92-93. B16's were in integras, but only in Japan
  4. Yea he died like 3 years ago. ive seen a red one running around westerville too, mainly around the rec center
  5. i think I know what car you are talking about, Ive seen it running around the Westerville area sometimes. Talked to him one day and ran him from a dig. I believe it was a 98 and had your normal bolt-ons. Dude was probably in his mid to late 20's
  6. Coming back from FL I passed that sign in TN
  7. looks like I will be getting collectors tags too
  8. thats too much jump on Honda-Tech and look in the groupbuy section for good deals. DC makes a good header for the price
  9. if you want nitrous, sell me your ITR and buy a GSR
  10. I say buy a good header then go Comptech tongue.gif
  11. Dont boost the R, if you are going to do that sell the R and get a LS. People are running 12's all day long with drag klts on stock bottom end R's
  12. I had a J's on my car and that thing was LOUD. Never had my car dynoed with it but it pulled very nicely. I highly suggest J's. Out of all the intakes I have had so far J's has been the best, and Ive had an AEM and Comptech. Get a header though. The best bang for the buck would be the JDM DC 4-1. Dont waste your money on that 2.25" collector crap cause you wont notice much at all
  13. Dont waste your money on stupid mods like AEM and crap like that, its worse than stock. For instance an AEM CAI dynos worse than your stock. I would recomend a header, thats the first mod to do to a R cause our intake tube is already 3 inches, if you want to get a header and drop a K&N filter in there. If you need any imput talk to me, Ive been researching our cars for over the last 2 years and I know whats good and whats not
  14. Flip that around and it is right. The B16a1 would be the best swap for a CRX
  15. B18 all the way, the aftermarket support just isnt there like it is for the B series, If you want to build the H22 its going to run you more than what it would if it was a B18, preludes are alot heavier than a hatch
  16. VAFC's are a waste unless you are heavily modded. if yo lower the Vy\tec engagement point, more than likely you are killing your power. Leave it set somewhere around stock.
  17. get a SMSP exhaust system, they are relatively cheap and they flow alot better than greddy or apexi for NA applications
  18. tear them off all mine are off and I cant even notice a difference in heat on my floor boards
  19. Yes they are always bad there
