  1. 03 was the first year for FI on the R6 and yes there is alot of benefits throttle response is a ton better no waiting for the bike to get to operating temperature for the carbs to work the way they should dont have to worry about the carbs getting gummed up when you store it you dont have to rejet for mods EFI is easier to tune if you do mod fuel economy is better obviously performance is better, late model bikes always perform better than previous year bikes anyway
  2. nope gotta work.. i work every saturday this month.. it sucks.. but im leaving for deals gap on april 2nd.. kinda pumped for that.. gotta get out and scrub the new tires in before i leave

  7. probably not.. its in pretty decent shape, so ill just keep it the way it is. i want to cut the can down get a seat cowl and maybe some stickier tires on it. and call it a day
  8. the 03 is my touring bike.. the 97 will be a around town, hocking hills, type bike. as for exhaust im gonna cut the stock can down to a shorty and see how i like it. example
  9. 97 Honda VFR 750 similar to my 800, but not a whole lot. seating position is almost identical, and it has the single sided swing arm. but its a 750cc v4, with gear driven cams, makes around 97 whp., pretty kick ass for a 97 lol. the bike is completely stock down to all the reflectors and big ass mudflap in the back. has the owners manual and tool case too. has brand new tire on the rear, front tire is about 80% tread, brakes are about 90%, chain and sprockets in great shape, and just had an oil change at a honda dealership. it was to good of a deal to pass up. the carbs were gummed up, got that taken care of last night, now it runs like a dream. after i got the old gas drained out i put some new in and took it for a joy ride, it hauls some ass, and is light on its feet. gotta love the gear driven cams in these things, cant wait to get a pipe on it, these things sound nasty with a pipe. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/SL370550.jpg

  14. Heres the deal, got this for the wifey, she really just doesnt like shooting it that much, shed rather shoot a pistol. So she wanted to put it up here for sale. I think she wants another glock lol. Anyway bought it brand new not to long ago at vances. the rifle has a 30mm BSA red dot optic with flip up caps (cant remember wht caps they are off hand), a forward grip, and 2 30 rd mags. the iron sights come with it. it will come with a tactical bag/case, hold the riffle, has pockets on the outside for 3 mags, and a zipper pouch as well. id like $500 for everything http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs041.snc3/12858_1269013561175_1104906712_30863892_250161_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs041.snc3/12858_1269013601176_1104906712_30863893_4358864_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs056.snc3/14358_1263069452576_1104906712_30848261_5014749_n.jpg http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs056.snc3/14358_1263069492577_1104906712_30848262_4072327_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs056.snc3/14358_1263069532578_1104906712_30848263_6912613_n.jpg

  16. just wondering if anyone has one for sale before i look to buy a new one silverado hitch would work as well
  17. this stuff isnt really stiff at all its more of a rubbery material. the material is very flexible. its not a formed plastic shell at all. i will have my back protector in on the 24th. if anyone wants to check the product out ill be more than happy to show you mine so you can see and feel the material.
  18. ill get you a price quote here by the end of the day
  19. actually it would help if you hit a tree.. do some research there guy.. "How impact protectors actually work is that they slow the rate of delivery of transmitted forces to a less-damaging or non-damaging rate. If someone punches you hard with their fist it will hurt you more than if they use the same energy to push you away. The punch is a sharp, sudden delivery of force; the push is a slower, more drawn out application A direct knee impact with the hard surface of the road or ground is sharp and sudden, but a good impact protector compresses slowly between you and the ground and spreads out the energy over a longer time. Thus the protector reduces injuries. Your kinetic energy still passes to the ground, but slowly enough to not injure you or to dig a hole! The differences in timescales involved are measured in milliseconds, but a millisecond is a long time in the world of impact protection!" so hitting the ground, a tree, a rock, whatever it may be you are slowing the rate of delivery of impact forces.. thus reducing the impact force to the body.. the forcefield protectors have the lowest transmition of force to the body out of any armor out on the market. hell there pro sub 4 back protector is the only back protector in the world that transmits less than 4kn force in the standard testing regime

    Its Alive!!

The viffer is done with all its maintenance aside from an oil change and putting the new tires on.. i had the 2 front intake non vtec valves out of spec, got the new shims and got them adjusted correctly. got new plugs in her, got the coolant flushed and filled, new water pump (it was leaking), deleted the PAIR valve, new DID gold chain, cleaned the sprockets up (they were still in great shape)... started up, warmed up and sounded great! shouldnt have to do any maintenace on her for another 20k miles! im pumped for riding season to get here. it was good to hear that beautiful V4 sound once again http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs179.snc3/20639_1344469487526_1104906712_31075202_2065804_n.jpg
