  6. We have a Panasonic Lumix and love it. It has a quicker reaction time than the CyberShots and PowerShots we played with and we got it for about $139 on sale from $179 I think at Best Buy. Has a touch screen and a lot of neat photo options.
  7. I'm getting old, sick of driving stick, makes life easier when the wife's car needs serviced since she cant drive stick.

The rx7 is going to be the track car, the most the gto will see is a k&n and some wheels.
  9. they preach2/32nds indifference at ntb also, Doc i'm pretty sure he can buy one on tire rack and have it shaved for this reason. per tire rack This necessitates that four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles use tires that are very closely matched. This is because different diameter tires roll a different number of times each mile as a result of the variations in their circumferences. Tire diameter variations can be caused by accidentally using different sized tires, tires with different tread designs, tires made by different manufacturers, different inflation pressures or even tires worn to different tread depths. As an example of different tire diameters resulting from tires worn to different tread depths, we'll compare two 225/45R17-sized tires, a new tire with its original tread depth of 10/32-inch and a second tire worn to 8/32-inch of remaining tread depth. The new 225/45R17-sized tire has a calculated diameter of 24.97", a circumference of 78.44" and will roll 835 times each mile. The same tire worn to 8/32-inch of remaining tread depth is calculated to be 1/8" shorter with a diameter of 24.84", have a circumference of 78.04" and will roll 839 times per mile. While the difference of 1/8" in overall diameter doesn't seem excessive, the resulting 4 revolutions per mile difference can place a continuous strain on the tires and vehicle's driveline. Obviously, the greater the difference in the tires' circumferences, the greater the resulting strain. While the cost of our street tire shaving service will range from $25 to $35 for each tire, it is significantly less than the cost of unnecessarily replacing the remaining two or three good tires with lots of mileage still available from them. Here are recommendations from some of the manufactures that the Tire Rack currently serves for matching the tires used on their four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles. Additional recommendations from other Original Equipment Vehicle Manufacturers is pending. AudiAs published in their vehicle owner's manual, "rolling radius of all 4 tires must remain the same" or within 4/32-inch of each other in remaining tread depth.PorscheCayenne within 30% of the other tire on the same axle's remaining treadwear.SubaruWithin 1/4-inch of tire circumference or about 2/32-inch of each other in remaining tread depth.
  10. i can prolly get ya new ones around 100 each
  11. ls2 are just too pricey, as are the g8's
  12. i was really tryiing to stick within 13k out the door, and I dont see any legacy gt's in that range(craigslist, autotrader, ebay)
  13. theres a good 5 or so mazdaspeed 6's under 12l with like 60k on them, all mazdaspeed 3's are coming in around 15k or so
  14. come on chad, i saw what you did to matt's firebird he had
  15. universal fitment, will work with any 5spd and 6 spd manual trannies.. lol
  16. if thats the comparison i got around ok in the mach, i'm not going to 100% base my opinion on snow traction, since we see heavy snow like 2 times a year here.
  17. I want a stockish fun daily, anyone ever driven these in winter? if so auto or manual, ls1,ls2 part of me just says with 350hp just get an auto, how do the autos hold up in these?
  18. you can have it notarized on your own, you do not have to goto the bank/notory with him.
  19. http://images.craigslist.org/3oc3p83l25T45W05U5b1h4beda445f8a21493.jpg may go drive tomorrow..hehe
  20. definitely, but i'm building a race car, just need a fun daily.. i'm getting mildly depressed looking for cars, I think I might start to explore my fetish for having a slammed diesel truck
  21. as much as I'd love a legacy, i just dont see paying 2-3k more for a car with 20-30k more miles than an equivalent mazdaspeed 3,6 or saab 9-3. I've got a budget and need to stick with it, i just dont think legacy gts are going to fit with 80k miles.
  22. Maybe it sounds weird I just like some variety, I don't necessarily want 2 v6 mazda6s at home since the wife dailys one
  23. How does the 5spd hold up in the legacy gt's
