  1. Up for sale is a <1 yr old Traxxas Summit 2.4ghz RTR Monster Truck/Crawler. This thing is a blast to drive in ANY conditions. Completely Stock with the exception of the top light bar and Proline premounted Trencher X tires on desperado black wheels. These tires have no problems in dirt, grass, gravel, snow, and even on asphalt. This truck is a beast, I have pulled my little nephew in a wagon in the front yard with it an it didn't even flinch!

I also have NIP axle stub (#5654) axle carriers (#5334R) right front arms (#5331) and a new left front lower arm. Along with various other parts including right and left axles, center driveshafts, diff parts, slipper clutch, etc.

The only things it needs: new 775 can motor (#5675 $30) and a diff gear set for the front (#5382X $13). There may actually be enough spare diff parts to fix it too. The current motor is fine but the positive tab broke off. It also gives you the opportunity to do the dewalt upgrade which last longer when using lipo batteries.

This comes just as it would if you were to buy it at the store, with all electronics and 2.4ghz transmitter and reciever. Along with the twin stock 7 cell nimh packs.

This was purchased at Hurricane Hobbies in Lewis Center, which also has a huge selection of parts including the 2 needed to get it running.

    $350 obo

Not really looking for trades, unless you have front end parts for a Honda Del Sol (Bumper, Bumper cover, Core Support, etc.)

I'm also including the 16gb SD card that I used with it. I'm going to throw it up on Craigslist on Wednesday. Just wanted to give CR first dibs!

  3. As did I! I'm a total science nerd, I would have given anything to be just a fly on the wall there. I hope this will restore faith in our gov and people that NASA can do amazing things and with the funding anything is possible. The kids will grow up again wanting to be astronauts, scientists, etc.
  4. Hey guys I'm looking for options for the network at my wife's shop. I was wondering if I should run it like I do at the house or is there something cheaper. I run the Airport Extreme base station and a couple of Airport Express' access points at one end and upstairs.

For the shop I need a base station, the WiFi on the Uverse only supports WEP, but we need an access point up front with a NIC and USB slot for networked reciept printer and cashdrawer.

I know the Express is only campatible with the Extreme but are there other access point/base stations out there that may be cheaper and even be Wireless N?

  5. I gather "sparkle" is some kind of laser targeting system that ground troops can use to show those in the air a target without themselves being seen. A modern flair.

But I'm a 4N in the Air Force, so correct me if I'm wrong!
