  1. We cannot be positive he did not instigate the conflict. The burden of proof could not be satisfied so I agree that "not guilty"(isn't your wife a lawyer?) verdict was correct. We agree I think there are many who don't see him as a bastard at all, there are many who happen to be rocking that pale skin (like it isn't going out of style according to the census) who see him as some sort of "us vs. them" hero figure. Thats gross. Again, you buy the narrative that graffiti and THC (the few times I actually smoked made me do the opposite of fight) are gateways to aggravated assault without evidence; the injuries sustained by GZ could have just as easily been assumed by TV "standing his ground". We will never know because the lead witness is dead. The evidence that does exist says it could have been either scenario. The latching on definitively to one narrative or another is lead by ones own biases. "Only in America can a dead black boy go on trial for his own murder."
  2. Quad Post FTW. If a black man is following you in a dark neighborhood at night while you are armed with a bag of skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea your natural instinct is fight of flight. Mine would be too. We don't know with certainty who instigated the conflict. To say you do is being disingenuous. If GZ was the instigator, then stand your ground should not be an option. In Florida, it still is. Either way, nobody knows and the only story that can be told is by the one whose self interest it is in to create a mitigating narrative. Our justice system demands a burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. This caveat is what creates the distinction between "innocent" and "not guilty".
  3. I agree with the Monkeysphere takeaway too but there are broader implications than the small lives of these two.
  4. Oh shit, I didn't know those warranted the death penalty in FL. You are right, the world is a better place without him. Good on GZ, either way... nod, nod, wink.
  5. There is a wide divide between "not guilty" and "innocent". At the very least he is not innocent of being an asshole.
  6. Which part of the second amendment gives one the power to provoke a confrontation then assert deadly force when one realizes they bit off more then they could chew? I agree that the evidence was lacking and the prosecution was a joke, but I certainly don't understand how this feels like an emotional victory for anyone.
  7. Queston: When you guys say "woot" and "good", what do you feel is the victory?
  8. One of my FB friends apparently witnessed him almost get into a brawl today in Pickerington. Anybody know who it is?
  9. Srsly? There is no confusion. Pleats are awful. Do not ever wear them. Ever. Seriously. Do they enjoy looking like they have a front butt? Do they have pictures of AC Slater hung in their cubicles? Edit: Link
  10. I play 1 VG a year. This year it was XCOM and it was awesome. Otherwise I'd be all over BioShock Infinite. It looks ridiculous.
  11. That is true too. Now that I work from home, I'm far more likely to be wearing sandals. It's steel toe when I'm in the field.
  12. Brand doesn't mean a thing if the fit isn't there. Just go to TJ max for now and get some "athletic" or "slim" cut button downs in neutral light colors. Even if you are not athletic or slim they will probably give you a more flattering fit. Read the guide I posed above. If you insist on sticking to Polo shirts, TJ Max has also been stocking Calloway golf shirts lately. They have, by far, the best fit. Most others are very baggy and straight cut from the underarms to the waist. These are what I generally wear when I visit a factory floor, I picked up a bunch of them for $19 ea.; hell of a lot better than the pro shop is asking at the club.
  13. They do have pleats. You need to start fresh. That shit is haggard.
  14. Stay out of the Deep South. Every ugly mug is covered in hair like that. It's a mess down here.
  15. He is not doing it to "do business", he's doing it to feel better about himself; as one is entitled to do. It seems you presumed his motivations as I presumed your supplement use. Get over it.
  16. It's all relative dude. How much did you spend on supplements this month. Some might call that stupid (I wouldn't, I did too). People express themselves in different ways; he is obviously interested in that. You are being ridiculous.
  17. Start with the Express Producer. I never favored the stretch cotton but you can try it out for yourself. If you are leaner go with the Photographer style. "Agent" is too bulky. Link
  18. So you are fine with modifying your body to achieve a certain aesthetic but judge others who may also take pride in the way they appoint themselves? Got it.
  19. Ok, First ditch the Khakis... Jesus, they don't have pleats do they? I'd imagine you likely have a distorted view of what a good fit is. Take Bob up on his offer and let him teach you how to be a gentleman. Start slow at Express or J.Crew and you can evolve from there. A good pair of shoes is a good place to start but if you pair them up with a Calloway shirt you'll just look silly.
  20. DSW's Mercanti Forintini served me well for many years. I own Cole Hahn and Mezlans but prefer the cheaper Forintinis I think they are up to $150 or so. Worth every penny.
  21. I found a black widow in my garage, inside the handle of the shovel I had just grabbed. Fuck bugs.
