  1. We have a few feiends down here that are into sailing. I'm not nearly ready to take that on. The open ocean scares my pants off. My uncle in law has a top of the line pontoon on pickwick lake in TN and it's great for that little lake but I haven't seen a single pontoon even at the inland coves.
  2. My wife is on board with the do everything type. I'll have to research if the amenities involved in your boat are enough to assume the tax benefit.
  3. Agreed, I'd go with My Yacht If I got the in laws on board it would be easy to do but I'd rather make sure we dig the scene before we take the plunge... So to speak.
  4. Here's another pic from this weekend: Link How can you not have a boat with this around you?
  5. I could see myself on that. I'd like one with a few more seats on deck though, we'd have 8 average sized people pretty frequently.
  6. Yeah, I really don't know. I'm not a 30' speedboat guy. I can fish in my back yard and I have yet to pick up the rod, so a fishing boat probably isn't going to get it's intended use. I don't see us sleeping on it but my understanding is that if it has a galley, a head and a bed it qualifies as a second home to the tax man.
  7. A year ago in July. I'd like something on which we can get a hand full of people. I was thinking 20k would barely get me in the ball park.
  8. I know nothing about boats or why they cost so much. However, this was today a few miles from my house today: link I'd link to spend as little as possible to make sure we're into it; 20k seems reasonable. What would you get? (I live in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach Alabama)
  9. Looks like Sammy might get deported. Link
  10. I've been on both sides of that desk. As the hiring agent, I asked questions that tried to figure out what the sales person would be like after the initial enthusiasm wore off and shit got hard. Depending on the sales cycle "the dip" between figuring out the territory and a steady stream of orders can be a significantly long time. Having the preparation and strategy to deal with that is what makes or breaks a sales pro. As a sales pro, I'd want to know about how the territory was managed before, what info exists on the current accounts and prospecting and how much of my time I will have to spend determining the decision maker, company hierarchy, and repairing botched relationships. Each company/territory I've taken over there was either no CMS or it was done on note cards, it's appalling how some people run their businesses.

  12. I know too well that walk of the first responders... the trepidation and hesitation knowing you're about to walk up on something horrible.
  13. Dr. Sott Prenger. http://www.copcp.com/ I miss having a good MD like him. He will tell you to not be so fat if you put on a few lbs, fair warning.
  14. Because isometric calisthenics is exactly the same as squatting a Festiva. Most often in this world, the extremities of either side of the spectrum are bad for you.
  15. In Brecksville? I lived there too. Sharon is in NYC now.
  16. His name is Dan Kim. You should meet him. Coolest MD ever.
  17. A good friend of mine was on the OSU orthopedic track he eventually went PGY-4, PhD route... And I'm dumb, I meant MD.
  18. Oh He has a PhD to substantiate his advice. What have you?
  19. Thanks for the free consult. It's strange, on my run tonight my left knee was fine; no clicks. My right knee clicked audibly for about an hour after the run. Still no pain. Squats do hurt so I avoid them and stick to the sled. Getting old is the worst.
  20. My left knee started clicking after a long run this week. No pain, just a click with every extension. I have a radial tear in my lateral meniscus in my right knee that I haven't had patched up (damaged it 11 years ago when I was a poor college kid). Am I going to die?
  21. Ohio is one of the easier states to form a business. This page has everything you need: http://business.ohio.gov/ The PDF here: http://business.ohio.gov/starting/ will get you going without really needing a lawyer or accountant. I personally use one of each though just because I like them.
  22. I've replaced screens on each of my iphones and even my ipad. No, I will not get a case. You can do it yourself.
  23. I think you two are perfect for each other.
  24. He'll save a lot more money in the long term by going here.
