  1. I have the Hoover agility I'd sell to you... I have wood floors now. No need for this guy: Review http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/productImages/8/1/00000102581-HooverAgilityF6212900HeavyweightDeepcleaningMachine-large.jpeg I'll confirm that as the model number later tonight.
  2. The girlfriend and I are longtime LifeTime members. She prefers to run in solitude.
  3. Running outside is for the birds.
  4. A lot of this is incorrect and based on common misconception. Carrying a balance on a card does not necessarily help your credit score. Good payment history should be shown on school loans, car loans, or mortgages. Extending out payments on a debt you could pay off is stupid. Closing accounts, especially old ones, will definitely hurt your score. The amount of available debt potential is not as important as your debt utilization. Under 10% is ideal. Having 50k available to you would put most people in a better score bracket as it would lower their overall debt utilization ratio. Yes, the 3 credit ranking bureaus use complex algorithms that are not completely understood, but taking the above poster's advice will surely have a negative impact. On closing accounts
  5. The point was moreso that that list was only a compilation of the largest city in each state. There are plenty of smaller cities with higher rates. ie. Akron has a higher local tax rate (2.25%) Cincinnati (2.10%) vs. Columbus (2.0%).
  6. I agree. I try to peg it within a few thousand either way. As a 100% commissioned employee, it is impossible to project my exact income at year's end.
  7. Where you kids pull your information from, I will never know. Columus is 17th when only using the nations largest cities... link Ohio is the 7th. Link When you add it up Columbus still isnt close to the top 10.
  8. I assumed you were going to say B.I.G starred in it. "previously undiscovered movie reel" or some such remix.
  9. I hope you get at least 10% of it back come tax return time... If not we need to get you a better CPA.
  10. Federal tax on 100k is $21,717 before deductions. State and local are obviously significantly less. Tack on a few exemptions and you can get your net pay per check a bit higher at the sacrifice of a heaftier return. When you look at the tax brackets, you are paying that percentage between the range of income... ie. on your first $8025 you pay 10%, $8026-$33950 you pay 15%... etc. One doesnt pay a full 28% as soon as he makes $78,852.
  11. You used to make semi-sound arguments that reflected your education. You have now resorted to libeling each and every dissention of your option or any statement slightly left of center as "typical liberal" sentiment. You, like the candidate you supposedly don't support, have sacrificed credibility to support an agenda.
  12. Why? Is your single vote great enough to cover the 5+ points he is ahead in Ohio?
  13. The second article borders on wording that implies some Lamarckian principals, The still proliferated notion that species choose to develop characteristics rather than have a higher propensity to survive based on random genetic mutations is why many people are skeptical of evolution.
  14. Goodwins Law in effect in the first sentence!
  15. down markets are where millionaires are made. We are all young enough to be taking risks. Your buying high and selling low is how I make my money.
  16. The reality is quite the opposite. I'll not so boldly assume that you make less than $125,000/year. The guy with the R next to his name is happy to take that money and funnel it into the pockets of big business. The guy with the D next to his name, in this case would provide you with a more significant tax break than what you are getting now. So many of you make your political decisions as if your income and capital assents are far greater than whats really sitting in your accounts and investments.
  17. I am an independent. I am on the Obama side of the fence. After McCain capitulated and pandered to the female vote with Palin, I wont be looking back. It was the final straw as an indicator his "Maverick" card needs to be revoked. I equally hate anyone who argues politics as if they were fans of a sport team. Political pundits are what is wrong with the political discourse in this country... and it seems like most folks who have an opinion have a distortedly ignorant and polarized one.
  18. The answer to the thread question, btw, is yes. And we will deal with another four years of further class division as governmental bodies are manipulated by the big business lobby. Had Senator McCain come out to run for the position, I would have been behind him. He did not and is now the pupet against which he advocated against only a few years ago.
  19. Surprise, Democrats whine when they get behind.
