I was back in the day. I was an onsite tech for Unisys when I lived in cleveland in 99'. I did Dell, Gateway, Micron, E-machine, HP, and anyone else who outsourced onsite tech support. Laptops, Desktops, workstations, switches, servers... that was when the IT industry was actually fun.

I usually work till 10pm then go to the gym right after. If I avoid cafeine after 8pm and use a shot of nyquil or Vodka I can get to sleep before 1. Otherwise I am up till 3am.

The house is definitely the priority and where most of attention is and will be. I will close on it before I head to [insert dealer here]. The car is just a fun thing that I would reallocate the discretionary income that I currently spend on my car... Plus with my downpayment the monthly bill would be roughly $350; not a big impact on my budget. Jag is off the list and the TT was never really on it. I too have always felt it was more of a Union Station kind of car.

Im a mitsu guy. I know the 4g63 better than my mom. If I am going to look like a high school kid getting out of a hotwheels car it is at least going to be a mitsu.

The M3 would be no contest if it was in the price range. If I did not have a forth coming mortgage and investment costs, my budget would be significantly higher. Depreciating assets are just for fun. As for the GTO, I'll give it a try but performance isn't the main priority. I bought my mom a GrandAm a few years back and vowed never to buy a pontiac again.

This would be my only car. I dont have the time or dedication my race car deserves. It should be running 10s right now but I havent even figured out what tiny electrical issue is haunting it. I do believe I am taking some time away from the car modification game.

-I havent done a single test drive yet. -Im not a big Audi fan. The TT up there is probably my least likely choice. -Im dont really favor the subaru crowd either. -It will be hard to get away from the Evo, but the G35 and 330 are challenging me. -Point noted on the x-type, it isnt a very likely contender anyway. -No glorified GrandAm aka GTO for me.
