  1. I am cheap by nature, so near professional means I dont want to pay a whole lot. Ill get a quote though.
  2. I hate cruises. Too many people, too many organized activities, too many line dances, bad water, dirty everything. The only cruise I will go on now would be an Alaskan one when The GF makes me.
  3. Agreed, Bush is one of the most incompetent civil leaders of all time, his gross mismanagement of the countries resources will earn him a place in history, his incessant patronizing of his dissidents with his condesending tone and smirk aggrivate my last damn nerve... that being said Kayne is following the all too familliar bandwagon of the "celebrity higher knowledge". The belief of many celebrities on the left AND right that through their power of popularity, they are somehow intellectually compentent enough to represent an opinion in a public forum. Sean Penn, Tom Cruise, Etc... garbage. Go back to the goddamn studio and make some more music for me to steal.

  5. That sucks, I refered as many people as I could to you. You truely were the best in town.
  6. (The girlfriend actually) is starting her own business. She grew up in Mali (that's in Africa if ya didnt know ) and is taking over her fathers contacts concerning the importation of African Art. While the Internets site, at least initially will only represent a fraction of her volume, I need a decent site in place to attract potential buyers. I created a quick one for the time being to hold the space (http://www.maliimports.com) until I can hire someone to make a pretty one. Any one with near professional level web skills looking for some work?
  7. I whole heartedly agree, and have preached against abuse the "welfare parasites" since I started paying taxes. Much moreso as of late. As an example, last week just hours after my wage had been deposited (aka that which is left after the $2,300 I paid in taxes), I was in my local Gahanna grocery store. The woman in front of me paid for her junk food laden bounty with her foodstamp card. As I exited shortly after I noticed her loading said groceries into her late model ford taurus. I got in my 15 year old, $1500 car knowing that I singlehandedly pay for her life. Parasites.
  8. Hawaii. Wikiki sucks, Maui was amazing. Went with the GF last year. Im heading to vegas next month though, first time.
  9. Im sure there are plenty of people who would be willing to help you out in assembling it. But seriously, it is so very easy. Shawns list is pretty good except that motherboard doesnt have an AGP slot (). You will need a pci-e vcard. With SLI technology that will allow you to run 2 of the same vid cards if just one is too slow for ya. Id recommend something better than the 9800 too, it is quite old school. In addition, there is no point in getting the absolute best RAM when the system itself doesnt merrit it. I would check out Patriot Ram. Very well priced with low CAS timing.
  10. If you are going for something that powerful and that expensive, it is in your best interest to learn how to build it yourself. It is very easy. (and Im partial to AMD anyway.)
  11. But seriously, have some self respect... You didnt even spell the name of your car correctly.
  12. I dont really believe in Karma, nor do I think that by donating that Im going to get anything more than a tax break... But if I did, I would hope that your statement/mindset comes back to bite you in the ass so very hard.
  13. My quote from the thread in the Kitchen:
  14. http://www.iwishiwascool.net/donation2.bmp follow suit bitches. (Yes, it is tax deductible.)
  15. Quite honestly, if I were to take the same mentality of SmartStealthMonkey, I would now criticize you for putting all your eggs in one basket and putting an amount of money in a fund with risk that would cause catastrophic damage to your financial position if lost (regardless of the usual low risk of mutual funds). I would say it's your own fault for not having the fiscal forsight to predict the potential severity of a national crisis. I would berate you for being so ignorant as not to have enough cash stashed under your mattress to sustain your needs in the event of a financial disaster. I might even tell you that with financial decisions like that, you definitely need to be calling my sister who happens to be a financial advisor to ensure that something like that never happens again. But I wouldnt, cause Im not stealthmonkey.
  16. A different perspective: FEMA prepares itself for bombs, Flash floods, and other mass casualty events... as in one in which there arent a whole lot of survivors. Im confident that an event as serious as this has never left so many people alive and stranded in unreachable locations. Dead people are a lot easier to collect and remove that breathing ones. FEMA and the US resources were unprepared for sure, but who could have predictided a situation like this?
