So your floor vents and everything change as they should your just not getting the cold air to the driver side in any position?

 

The door is the blend door and actuator also not called the mixer motor just FYI

 

There could be more than one but with the air on and cold move the doors by hand if you can as you say and if your issue is fixed then it has to be either the door sticking or the gear on the inside of the actuator is stripped so it try's to spin but doesn't actually turn the door

Correct, air flow changes from floor to defrost with no issues. I'll try to move by hand and see if it changes.

I took the actuator module apart and the gears are not stripped. I can also watch the levers move when I change the temp from hot to cold and back.

About a month ago, I thought I had no A\C. I added some Freon and thought it was fixed but I mostly drive with the windows down and A\C off.

This week I noticed that the passenger vents (right center, window, floor) are cold and the driver side vents are warm\hot.

Today, I removed the lower dash panels and confirmed that all of the vent door motors are moving when I change settings. This includes the one under the driver dash that moves when you change the temp. (I believe this is referred to as the mixer motor)

Note: This car does NOT have dual climate control.

Any ideas?

Anyone have a 10foot A frame ladder I can borrow? Live in Grandview, will provide beer and gas money to anyone who can deliver one for me to use for about 30 minutes this weekend. Need to change out some lightbulbs in a fan/light. Only ladder I have is way too big to bring inside.

 

If you have one but can't deliver, still reach out, I might be able to borrow a buddy's truck.

We have a traditional wood burning fireplace with blower, which everyone knows is not very efficient. We have been heating mainly with wood this year but not being efficient there is a lot of waste.

 

Wanting to add a pellet stove so my options are...

 

1) Remove the wood fireplace and get a pellet stove insert, utilize the chimney for the pellet stove exit

 

2) Install pellet stove in the basement (half finished half storage) And tie to air ducts to push air into bedrooms

 

3) Put the pellet stove in the corner of the same room that has the fireplace so I can burn pellets or wood. Use fans to push the hot air up the stairs

 

I was told to put the stove where you want the heat. A basement will absorb most of the heat, and to put it on the first floor. I am afraid to get the pellet insert and take out my wood burning fireplace in case I ever run out of pellets and want to burn wood. Under 2500 sq ft, all electric house.

 

Those who have pellet stoves what are your thoughts?

 

Also thought about an outdoor boiler. I could heat the house and the future pole barn with it. But high cost up front.

I have a wood stove in my basement and use the fireplace chimney. I also have a double wide cold air return in the room with the stove so I blocked the return on 1st floor and put in vents in basement room.

With the wood stove going, the basement room will be about 80-85 degrees (normal basement temp is 65) and with furnace fan on low, it will heat the entire house to 68-70 without my propane furnace doing any of the heating work.

Did you buy it like decades ago? They don't even have a 6x8 trailer and the cheapest one I'm seeing is $300 for a 4x8 and I'd still need wood and hardware to attach it so it'd be like $400.

I have one from there. Built a wood deck on top with 2x6 and 3/4 plywood. It's 6x8' and have under $200 in it.

How many channels do you get with it? i have the cheapo $6 amazon one, and i get 4/6/10/28/34 fine, but i can't get 53 at all. might upgrade if i can get channel 53

 

 

I have tge same one and pick up 27 channels including 53 and im outside of 270

I'm out near Slate Run Metro park and I pick up

4/6/10/28/34/51/53. My antenna is sitting top of a bookshelf. I have to rotate it about 45* to get 6/34 to come in clear vs the others

What stone and how much? That may be the difference.

I bought #57 limestone from Jones. Was cheapest I found calling 4-5 companies.

I have ordered stuff from them before. I usually try and buy some bulk to save on shipping. They are in Ohio too.

 

Maybe the question isn't as specific as $1088 & $500, but how much above your deductible would it have to be in order to claim it?

In other words, regardless of what your deductible is, there is some threshold above that amount which the claim would have to be to claim it. You aren't going to claim a $501 claim on a $500 deductible, just like you wouldn't claim a $1001 claim on a $1000 deductible.

I used to think that way until my rate went up after dropping a car in June. It now cost me more for them to insure less.

It has crossed my mind to get a table, but getting enough people together at one time to pick it up etc. and get it to Baltimore Ohio would be damn near impossible.

They are both on my trailer now so delivery to anyone on CR is included around the Columbus Area. I think you could realistically do it with 4 people.

Depends on how strong they are. I think we had 8 people. They are standing on their side and I was able to lower them to a furniture dolly with wheels by myself.

I'd say 4-6 people. I have a couple of dolly's/carts that can be used.

These are the traps I use. They are easy to set, very sensitive, and you don't have to touch the mouse to clear the trap and reset. Home Depot has them.

I would caution against poison. They will take that back to the nest and if the nest is in the car and they die, you will be tearing every panel off to fine the smell of the rotting mouse.
