not at all, which is why i didnt even put the name of the company in my posts. i didnt want to say "XYZ company brought me these shitty products" before i gave them a chance to fix it. obviously shit happens, this was just too extreme. im actually quite happy with the items i received once it was all made right...dovetailed drawers, 5/8" thick box, full extension drawers with soft close feature (which i LOVE), and i got all my cabinets for my kitchen assembled/delivered for <$2900 OTD

lol. that goose thing was awesome. but the guy shoulda quit being a pussy after maybe the 2nd time it came back, grabbed its next and just did a quick snap of it and be done. when i used to hunt duck/goose years ago, if you had one of those shots where it may break a wing or injure the bird but not kill it, it was either snap its neck by hand or unload the chamber and give it a swift hit with the butt of the gun.

right...such a douche move of me to see if anyone was aware if a bank only accepts disputes within 30 days of a purchase, when i received my item on the 30th day and would have to rush to put a dispute on it had there been a time limit. lets look at it like this... i get items delivered to me. realize there are issues with multiple pieces...wait a couple days until it was convienent for me to get down there and talk to them. once i get down there, they say "sorry, nothing we can do. all sales are final, no refunds, no exchanges". i then call bank, and they say "sorry, disputes need to be made within X time frame, which ended yesterday". then im fucked because i lollygagged for a couple days instead of jumping on it. its not like i called the bank and put a dispute on it before i spoke to them, i just wanted to know how long i had INCASE it didnt get resolved. it did get resolved, so i came back and posted as to not give anyone the notion it didnt get fixed. i dont see how this is a douche move.

sometimes i want to kick myself for not getting into it early last year. my thoughts at the time were buying house > buying stocks. had i put 5k in feb 09 (we'll go with 2/6/09 since i can get quick info from that week) into the 3 stocks im holding now (lets say 25% into FITB, 25% into ARMH, and 50% into BAC), i could have turned $5,000 into over $17,500 but if i did that, i'd still be living in an apartment i hated and have a 30 minute drive each way to work. now i live in a house i like and have an 11 minute drive/19 minute bike ride to work. oh well. i jumped in in oct 09, probably before i should have, bought some stocks, almost right after that, some of them took a shit, i held onto them for a while, got pissed, sold them at a loss, and put them into other stocks. luckily the ones im still holding are doing ok, up $4/share on FITB, $3.50 on ARMH, and BAC is just about even where i bought it. i think im down about $150 or so on my original investment of $1000. argh.

just to update - i dont want this to go to the archives without a resolution got all the cabinets today. took a bit longer than the owner told me it would (first told me by end of week 4/17. didnt happen. thursday i call to find out whats going on, guy says theyre going up to cleveland friday (4/23) to get new ones. calls me back 1/2 hr later and says cabinets arent ready til monday, but i'd have them monday evening. get call yesterday, saying i'll have them today (tues). so today they call, said on their way, i take my lunch break, head home, check cabinets over before they leave and i had to get back to work. cabinets look good, all the f'ed up doors replaced, cracked frame replaced, doors adjusted to close evenly (which i could have done had they let me know about the adjustment screws on the hinges). so in the end, i got my cabinets in time for my kitchen remodel, and everything was made right as i was told by the guy i ordered them through.

lol. charles, had it been in 2 weeks from now, i'd come give you a hand with it, but im stuck at work thru thursday then doing my kitchen remodel for the next week and a half.

dont you hate it when you make sure the coast is clear, rip some nice quiet ass in your cubicle, realize its a bit worse than you thought, then someone who sits right next to you comes walking by... where do those motherfuckers come from? I JUST CHECKED!

i could be wrong, but i dont think the laws are the same when the president is present. obviously its not like he was in the same building as him, but still. i can see both sides of this. no one wants to take the slightest chance with the presidents life. i predict he'll get to spend a couple days dealing with some bullshit and nothing will come of it if everything turns up that he had reason for radio, etc. just think of it as an extreme case of if you got hassled for open carrying here.

ill admit it...i was sitting there for a minute like...hmm...then i felt like a ruh-tard after a few posts. good one chad.

a guy at work had a woman come out and grind like 10 black walnut stumps at his place and said it was cheap...$50 is popping into my head but it may have been $100. im not going to do something like that myself if i can have a pro do it for that little and what is slit seeding? i was reading after the aeration to do the overseeding so it gets down into the ground and forms deep roots...what would you charge to do an aeration? it may just be better for me to have someone do it than to mess with it myself.

yeah, i read a while back (like when i was living at home) that watering during the day with the sun out will fry the grass. just watering at night at my parents we noticed a bit of a difference.

so my yard is junk. it was last year when i moved in, but i didnt have time to do anything but mow it and lay weed and feed once, and i just told myself id deal with it this year. my yard has small bare spots, weeds, larger bare spots, more weeds, clumps of grass, etc. what i think i need to do from searching online is to overseed the lawn...can i do this at this time of year? also some sites talk about aerating the lawn, which i saw i can rent an aerator at lowes and do it myself. do i have this correct? 1. scalp down lawn with mower on lowest setting (with bagger attachment to reduce cleanup) 2. aerate lawn 3. rake clean of clumps of dirt, any other loose material 4. overseed lawn 5. water daily for next 1-2 months what can i do about the weeds? can i put down weed and feed after the new grass starts growing? something else? also, to remove a crab apple tree with a ~6" trunk, should i be able to cut it down, and dig it out and fill the hole with dirt, or is that getting to the size i will need to have someone come in with a stump grinder? ive got a big stump in my front yard i'll be taking care of this summer, so if that would be easier ill do that. if its going to be overkill, i'll dig it up

yeah...even if he makes the money, thats bad ass she got it for him. really though, i dont think it should concern anyone here as to who works in their house and who doesnt. he got a sweet car, no reason for anyone to hate.

did your bank not have an appraisal done before they gave you the loan? you can use that.

i watched a guy at sloopys almost get in a fight over a $.50 pitcher of natty a couple months back his buddies were playing beer pong and dipping the ping pong ball in his pitcher since he wasnt around...he came back, got bitchy with them, then the dude playing against them was kinda like "dude its fifty cents", etc type comments...then the dude was about to fight him. dude with pitcher had like 70lbs on this kid EASY, and the smaller kid was talking about, im from down south we ride BULLS. we aint no pussies, ill throw down, etc. i was cracking up that they were getting ready to fight over a $.50 pitcher of natty but i only read this thread because i just went out with friends from out of town and i am drunk. as. fuck.

for me it cost nothing, but you have to prove what your value is. i got lucky since i had just bought the house, had 2 appraisals, etc. if youve lived in the house for a while, you'll probably need an appraisal which might be ~$400, maybe a second opinion, comparables, etc. but to submit the complaint of valuation = free

i think at 271.9hp you can claim 272. its only fair.
