  1. dan miragliotta reffed that fight.
  2. true. i got a buddy who details and said hyundai actually has decent paint. i just saw a commercial in the last couple days that said the sonata had better paint than an S series benz (i'd have to look up the commercial to more accurately quote it)
  3. +1. the silva maia fight was ridiculous. showboating for a minute is ok. for the whole god damn fight pisses me off. i saw this on yahoo about the fight- from dana white i think this is good. i think silva is one of the best in the sport, but he obviously needs someone/something to put him in his place i got to bdubs and my brother that works there told me i should have went @ 1 because it wasnt busy at all...i wasn't able to come in anyways...but i was watching the hockey game before the fights and looked down at the news scroll and saw that BJ lost, which pissed me off (because he lost and because i knew it would be a 5 round fight he lost)
  4. thought about something like that, but then the saying of "if you want to drive luxury, you have to maintain luxury" popped into my head, and i dont think i want to have to deal with those replacement parts
  5. bdubs gahanna tonight?
  6. you guys are missing the end of his post.. if another store said they'd take it back, just go to one of the other stores and get your money back.
  7. lol. i have no need for a full size.
  8. bump...looks like we're going to start just a little bit later (maybe 1230 or so) supposed to be sunny and 66, so a good day
  9. i doubt they'll make an issue out of cosmetic paint. structure, roof, heat, water i beleive are the main things they require
  10. found these - emailed both, hoping to hear back soon so i can go look at them and see if they're worth taking for an inspection. the 98 - woman said she has records/receipts going back to 2005, 97 - guy said he doesnt have so many records but has receipts (??). just got a call from guy with the 97 and going to look at it sunday afternoon http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1678151895.html and this http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1683658007.html
  11. aside from the couple 2 doors in there, a lot of those are good options. thanks!
  12. as much as i like to drive stick, i'd like to have this as an automatic. just not something im looking for in an suv. but rob did mention the sorento but i cant find any in my price range...i emailed a couple people off CL on a couple jeeps...waiting to hear back from them
  13. he used to always be outside of newport. give him a buck and he'll rap for a while. its hilarious
  14. what about a 97 mountaineer? after seening the f/s for the blown up motor one, i looked at a few on CL...looks a little bigger than the explorer (or maybe im just looking at it wrong). found one for <$3k with about 139k miles. what are some common issues to look out for with these? i plan to take any serious considerations somewhere (rob, derek) for a used car inspection, but i'd like to be able to notice something when i go to look before i spend time/$ taking something to one of them
  15. too much money is not possible. if i had an infinite amount of money, i would find some way to spend it until the day i died.
  16. i dont know about the song...put a few of his on my ipod to listen a few times and see if it grows on me but im with sam...that bitch is smokin
  17. BOMA meet in 1/2 hour anyone? :bangbang:
  18. looking at a few options, and wanted to get some opinions on what i should look for, what i should watch out for, etc. want/don't want list - 1) dont wan't a huge SUV (tahoe, suburban, expedition, etc) 2) hitch/tow package/decent towing. nothing major...maybe a small to mid-size boat later on 3) 4 doors and seat 4 adults comfortably (no cramped legs in the rear) 4) fold down rear seats so i can carry something like 4x8 sheets of plywood/drywall (i know i wont get the whole sheet in but im <1mi from lowes), my bicycle, small deep freezer, etc 5) 4x4. this won't be so much a daily driver as it will be for hauling things/people, bad weather, etc...it will probably get driven once or twice a week though so its not constantly sitting, my DD and bike will do me fine most of the time 6) roof rails - something i can throw my canoe/kayak on top (doesn't seem like this is an issue with most that im looking at) 7) heated seats would be nice, but not necessary. usually i hate leather, but i think its more because i hate sliding around when i want to push some turns...wont happen with an SUV so heated seats in winter > sporty driving 8) something with a proven engine that should have a long life. under $6k vehicles i've been looking at (and yes, i know theres some options that somewhat fit my list in the corral. just looking for other options/opinions) - 1998-earlier jeep grand cherokee laredo (i6) or limited (v8), 1999-2002 ford explorer, 2002-2003 ford escape, dodge durango (not a fan but maybe)
  19. anyone? we did johnstown to newark and back last week, was about 40 miles round trip. was windy as fuck and made it somewhat unenjoyable, so i'd like to do it again this weekend hopefully with a lot less wind, and go a little past newark towards hanover. the trail looks like it goes about 8-9 miles past the YMCA where it ends (theres a 1.5 or so mile break between part of the trail), so im guessing about 56 miles or so...and obviously if it gets to be a bit further than estimated, we dont have to go the whole way start at johnstown HS around 11-1130? forecast is looking like 63 and sunny, rain friday but trails should be dry by saturday afternoon post here to let me know. grant (GMoney) said he was in when we finished up last week, but i'll check to make sure he's still down and here after the 19th the olentangy greenway from worthington to downtown is supposed to be done with construction near campus, so i'd like to hit that in a couiple weeks
  20. i dont know if he's available, but you should hit up GTPnLS1. he does industrial electric work, did some stuff at my house when i did a remodel, and knows his shit...i just dont know what his certifications are hell of a good guy though. i wouldnt hesitate to call him again for any electric work, and even given out his number to a couple people who needed stuff done...i dont know if any of them called him though
  21. roommate = easy excuse to not have her move in. i moved my g/f in just under a year. since then, its just gone slowly downhill. it sucks sometimes. like being married but not. ugh
  22. blitz, dont listen to bob and tom but i used to love listening to grego when i had a 30 minute drive to work. i actually like morning shows. voted for new music but theres some stuff thats "older" (not like 60s/70s/80s stuff) like some nirvana, etc i like. i think its cool they must have realized theyre listening crowd dropped off dramatically and looking for opinions from people. pissed me off when they changed it back in the day
